looks as inept at they did against Texas Tech.  If K-State had a real offense they'd be winning about 45-6 given the field position that the defense has given them.

Apparently only Brandon Banks and Mastrud play receiver for KSU . . . oh yeah, Snipes got a sniff in the first half.

Lamark Brown might as well go home.

Oh come on, vanilla or not, our offensive line couldn't block their own shadow right now.

could'nt agree more. It is frustrating to watch. Has anyone else noticed that when GG is scrambling the recievers seem to never come back to get open.

    This ZERO is my Hero
These teams are sleep walking right... colorado is in a coma, they ran a fake punt out of their endzone.

Maybe OB is content with this just soft serving this one, and hoping for the best.

Thank Hay-sus for dumb plays by CU.

A field goal would of sealed it. Dumb play call.

"I don't know if I will be able to knock out as many teeth as big Lu, but I hope to pick up on the scoring and rebounding aspects." Wally Judge talking about being a biig of the future for KSU!

blew our load last week.  i'm surprised everyone though this game was gonna be high scoring with CU's defense averages in big12 play.

    shame on you, non-believers
I have always loathed how often Snyder runs an option inside the 5-yard-line, to the short side of the field. Sure, it works sometimes, but the possibility of disaster is far too great. It's just a horrible play call, and for whatever reason, OB loooooooves it.

:dunno:

No, as inept as you'll ever see would have been LOSING to a more inept Buff team... or almost any of the Prince-coached games. We're doing a hell of a lot better so far than I could have hoped!

it's a numbers game, usually that side of the formation will have one less defender.  also, a lot of teams will blitz from the short side of the field, if you catch them, then you've got an advantage.

Tough game to watch for sure.  It's just what we are.  All of the KSU games will be blowouts or nailbiters.

    I think therefore I think I'm hungry
Bill sounded quite pissed off at the offense after the game. I'm not sure I've ever heard him sound that angry about anything.

With the right people running that option to the weakside it's almost impossible to defend.  Don't really remember that kind of stuff happening when Ell was our QB.  But we don't have Ell and Snyder needs to realize that.  All we needed was three hand offs and a field goal then it's game over.  We really let CU hang around way too long in this game.  If we want to have any hope of beating MU or ku we've got to get much better on offense.   Everytime I think Gregory has locked down the QB spot he comes out and plays like total crap.  Props to the defense CU isn't good on offense but still a great job by the defense.

The short side of the field doesn't bother me as much as the field position. I just don't like running the option when the secondary is squeezed up by the endzone. Never have. Seems unnecessary; just run a sprint draw or off-tackle with Thomas.

I would also question our non-use of Brown in red zone situations.
