Most underrated cheer in college sports? I sure think so. I really get into this chant, mostly if it was a "big-time" touchdown.

Love it.  When on Spring Break in Padre in 04 THE Ohio State University fans loved the EMAW in the Fiesta Bowl.

I have some relatives (distant) that are OU fans.  They came to Manhattan to tailgate and watch the game a few years back.  I remember one of my family members mentioning how amazing the KSU fanbase is and how intimidating the crowd can be for only 50,000.  He said the atmosphere has been one of the best he has ever been to (he has been an OU season ticket holder for over 20 years and was one of the dudes that shot the cannon during college) and KSU's fanbase is much more passionate than OU fanbase.  He said the K-S-U chant was one of the coolest things he has ever seen because the entire place rumbled in unison.

It is always awesome.  My favorite is the pregame version before a big game like NU or UT or OU.  When everyone is reall geeked up it is incred.  Also like when Willie climbs on top the press box and just keeps repeating it over and over. 

Side Note:  not enough KSU cheer at bball games.  I've always felt this way.

Totally agree. Way too much fight song too. Like two or three times in a row with that damn thing. I almost barfEMAW all over the place.

For one, I am glad (and proud) that our cheer is one of unison and not one of those echo back and forth things.  The whole MIZ-ZOU can get pretty loud, but relegated to participating in only 50% of the whole thing is like having to bat on the non-dominant side in co-ed softball.  Sure, you're on the team, but you can't give it ALL you've got.

2004 No. 1 OU pre-game electric atmosphere followed by the K-S-U Willie led chant = goose bumps

When KSU is good and the stadium is packed and completely on edge geeked up, nothing else beats the Willie led K-S-U chant, especially if on top of the press box. It's like an EMAW supernova.
