So is CU going to f*ck up and kick a low liner punt to Banks?
Are they going to fumble/INT deep in their own territory?
My hunch says yeah, at some point they'll make some sort of mistake...It just so happens against A&M we actually punished someone for doing so..and then they pouted.
What worries me is that our defense isn't going to wrap up and and/or stay at home on those pesky bootleg plays that Hansen showed he is capable of executing pretty efficiently. I don't want them putting up 75 yard drives at will. I'm so used to seeing that crap from Tibs defenses.
Their real strength on offense is on the ground with Stewart and Hansen working right and left...and they'll occasionally go to Sammy Knight on short routes. Hansen can actually find him. Hawkins was downright clueless.
I'm guessing our strategy will be the same we've done the last three games...run DThomas out of the Wildcat to get us going and set up Gregory with some out routes to the TE, Snipes, and Lamark* and every once in a while test them deep.
*if he decides to participate
btw, has CU faced the Wildcat offense at any point yet this season? I'm guessing not very much but I haven't watch every game they've played.
This game will test KState's dline ability to pursue on the edges as A&M's attack was primarly up the middle. So in that case I'm worried it won't matter how stout we are in the middle. All about edge speed in this one.
Add in Barnett's guarantee and I'm pretty worried about this one.
