    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
Just sayin'.

BUT -- it'll be the successful direct snap fake field goal pass completion he makes with 3:32 left if the 2nd that keeps our drive alive and allows us to get 7 before halftime.  The ensuing on-side kick recovery and 55-yard TD completion from GG to Mastrud (yes Mastrud) as the clock expires will totally demoralize the 'Buffs.

Of course, Cherry will miss the PAT.

Good idea to get some ST discussion going.

On a related note, CU will be without their best KO returner and little used (but highly touted) back-up RB Darrell Scott.

DScott is getting his knee scoped...but was pretty much a non-factor in their last two games. Rodney Stewart is their guy...and Hansen's scrambling will annoy the frank out of us.

Prepare to see the naked bootleg and the counter draw all day long. I think Koenning maybe, maybe might be preparing for it this week.  :frown: :frown:

Scott is not a factor in the CU offense, but that doesn't mean he isn't a factor.  129 KO return yards (5 returns) vs ku and 93 (3 returns) vs UT.  28 yards per return is pretty solid.  Of course, their 2nd KO returner is pretty good as well, but Scott was doing a good job there.

This thread is about Josh Cherry....dammit!

24, 19, 32 <-- Distance of made field goals this weekend

37*         <-- Distance of missed field goals this weekend

* Cherry misses from 37 yards out, but an flag on CU for using another player to gain an advantage marches us 5 yards closer.  Josh hits from 32 (see above).
