Seeing Freeman play in person, he had nice size, decent mobility, and a strong arm.  His accuracy wasn't there, however.  Was as bad as I have ever seen.

Is accuracy generally something that gets alot better with QBs, or is it something that "you either have it or you don't"?  I was thinking the latter.  Seems like a better fit for a tight end.

Good game, anyhow.  Look forward to the repeat next year and for years to come.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
No way.  It's pretty rare for QB's to improve over time.

we must have lost to Mizzou or something.  This is possibly the first post by a Mizzou fan I have witnessed on a KSU board.

Freemans acciuracy will improve as he become more comfortable with the offense and developes more confidense in the o line. I imagine he will learn to control his adrenaline better as he adjusts to the speed of college ball. :beerchug:

I think we are planning on the receivers arms getting longer, not Freeman's accuracy improving.  We have the Kansas State Arm Hang champion for last year committed.
"Bob and myself had a nice chuckle over that one. Bob told me, ‘How could I say the things I’ve been saying about Kansas State to the kids and go someplace else?’ ”

This coming from someone that watched Brad Smith play for 4 years.

Lack of Confidence ... means passes ending up in the dirt.

Poor Mechanics ... means passes flying way over the receivers head.

Brad Smith was very far from an accurate QB.  But Freeman on Saturday (with his 5 of 19 throwing) was way, way way (did i say way?) way worse then Brad Smith looked like in his worst game.

How did B. Smith look as a freshman during his 3rd career start; against a ranked foe; on the road; in the rain?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
