Next week is a biggie for the Hawks.   OU is vulnerable.  They basically have nothing to play for.

Yeah... if Mangino doesn't beat OU this year, I'm not sure he ever will.  Still depressed about the game last night.

You guys need to worry about the North, you weren't going to win a National Title . . . so snap out of it.

Oh, I agree, but now ku has to pull off a big win against OU to have a shot at the North.  Would have been nice sitting at 6-0 heading into the game next weekend.

I think ku will win the games in the North this year that SHOULD give them the North title...but the south schedule will sink them.    I think NU "wins" the North by beating Baylor next week.

K-State is in the driver's seat for the North right now with CU, ku, and MU all at home.  Unreal.

NU has a lot of issues with their offense... I wouldn't give it to them automatically...

True, but I just don't see us beating them at their place. Plus, I'd be blown away if we get 3 wins from CU, ku, and MU. Even though none of those teams look even close to unbeatable, neither do we. That's a tall order for KSU. Nothing is impossible though.

As much as I would like to hope we have a shot at the north, I really can't reasonably believe that.  With MU most likely going to be 0-3 after next week, ku and nubb should be fighting it out.  Though the winner might be 5-3 or even 4-4.

Would've been a great game next weekend if ku had beaten CU. I mean think about it, vs. OU @ home on 2:30 ABC. Would have been a pretty good game with OU winning close.

Now I see OU winning BIG! Really caught them at the wrong time (kind of like us vs. TAMU) they're going to be VERY pissed off and don't wanna be at 3-4.

Then Tech on the road. :shy:

ku could very well be on a three game losing streak coming into the Bill. Then after us have NU, @ Texas, and Mizzou at Arrowhead. Very hard. Shouldn't of blown it and lost to the worst team in the Big XII North.

I'm not taking any team for granted, but it would be freakin sweet to be 3-1 in the Big 12 after next week.  That would be a nice position to be in for sure.

Nebraska will get a fresh look next week with Zac Lee getting benched (supposedly). I wouldn't read too much into their TTech beating. TTech is better than anyone in the North.

We'll see how ku responds this week vs. OU.

If we were to somehow beat Colorado. omg that would be remarkable. Still skeptical but I'm soaking in last Saturday for all its worth.

Truth. We play like we did against CU (and ISU...and USM to an extent), we'll end up 5-7, maybe 6-6 if we're lucky.

Congrats on beating A&M. I've never been a big fan of them or UT growing up around here, so it's fun to watch KSU beat both.
