Yep this one's worse than 77-0. At least that one was at the hands of a top-5 OU squad. This came from a barely-average-at-best K State team who should have NEVER.......NEVER.......NEVER even come close to hanging that kind of number on us. DAMN I have followed A&M for close to 30 years, proudly attended during the Wrecking Crew years, and have stood by and watched for WAY too long now while this program has gone right down the sh***er, and this was about more than I could tolerate. It's nut-cuttin' time. I don't know what kind of top-to-bottom surgery it's gonna take to bring us back to relevance, but there is NO WAY a program of this stature should have EVER been reduced to this. I'm not saying we're up there with USC or Alabama or (God save me) the sips. But there's no way on God's earth we should be looking up at Baylor or tcu or Cougar High. Hell I'm not sure we could handle UTEP right now. This has gone WAAAAAAY beyond ridiculous. What a load of fool's gold we got thrown during those first three games, where we looked like a team that should have taken care of business and actually DID. To think I believed we might be turning a corner.....

Yes I'm a little pissed. I can't believe I still care this much...... you'd think 10+ years of mediocrity-or-worse would've faded me out by now.....

They also b1tch about OB kicking the field goal.

LOL

I was actually a little surprised they kicked, but the other kicker needed some work, too, I guess.

2003 OU 77-0. Oklahoma was a team that up until their QB was injured was considered to be one of the Best Teams Of All Time! Kanye Style. Remember the comparisons of OU to 95 Nebraska, 01 Miami, Oklahoma went to the National Championship Game

2009 K-State 59-0 (Thats the final score to me, dont care about anything else, they were up 59-ZERO with more than 25 minutes left in the game)

Kansas State beat UMass by 4, and lost to U-LA-LA

This is worse than U-La-La in '096
This is worse than 77-0
This is worse than Baylor '04
This is worse than Arkansas State '09
This is worse than Baylor in '09

This is the worst, most uncaccecptable loss in my lifetime (26)

We're still not even for 98.

Yeah, nothing can make up for 98, but it does feel good.

Why blame a team for wanting to win in 98? I hated it as much as anyone... but wasn't it Michael Bishop holding the ball like a loaf of bread that cause him to fumble the ball? Just a question.

That's true.  Certainly a major contributing factor.  Mostly I blame Bob Stoops.

Yes, to go along with a number of other fumbles during the game, but the last one was killer

DO NOT LET HIM WEAR THAT STUFF TO SCHOOL ANY MORE! I am serious. I have a theory that this is how many kids turn gay. They are forced to wear crap like that and all of the other boys laugh them off into exile until there are only girls to hang out with b/c they dont know sh** about football, esp at that age.

dont let your boy become "the friend of the girls".

1. Recruits do read this board. Focusing on the negative undermines the program you are spending so much time complaining about.

2. Players do read this board. You are undermining Sherman's leadership when you demand his firing.

3. The family members of A&M employees read this board. You are hurting a lot of people's feeling with comments that suggest Kines should be in a nursing home.

4. This is only a game. Don't you people have anything else going on in your lives?

Been reading the comments from the Dallas Morning News and Houston Chronicle from their game stories. One guy in the Chronicle bit¢hing about the ags having three recruiting classes in a row that were low top-25 and this year's will be the same. He's not complaining they aren't getting coached up, he's mad they aren't top 10.

As soon as the announcement happened I stood up and screamed to everyone around me that we were going to win the national championship.  True story.

Me wonders if some of this kind of thinking may have been in the  back of some of aTm's player's minds also.  From what I've seen, it's a lot more dangerous mentally coming off of a win or moral victory, than it is coming off a loss.  I'm just glad KSU showed a little mental toughness this week and obviously responded well to some of the challenges posed to them this week by the coaching staff.  Now the challenge for this week will be how do they respond to prosperity.
