    I think therefore I think I'm hungry
How does it play out? Here are my thoughts

CU(1-1): @KSU(L), MU(W), aTm (W), @ISU(L), @OSU(L), NU(L). 3-5
ISU(1-2): @NU(L), @aTm(W), @OSU(L), CU(W), @MU(L). 3-5
KSU(2-1): CU(W), @OU(L), ku(?), MU(W), @NU(L). 4-3 (+?)
ku(1-1): OU(L), @TT(L), @KSU(?), NU(W), @UT(L), MU(W). 3-4 (+?)
MU(0-2): UT(L), @CU(L), BU(W), @KSU(L), ISU(W), ku(L). 2-6
NU(1-1): ISU(W), @BU(W), OU(L), @ku(L), KSU(W), CU(W). 5-3

So that makes my final standing prediction:
NU: 5-3
KSU: 4-3(+?)
ku: 3-4(+?)
ISU: 3-5
CU: 3-5
MU: 2-6

Interesting.  If your scenario plays out, November 7 will be huge in determining which of us gets to finish in second place.  Makes that game really important.

I'm not sure I like this.

    The very best.
i still think cu is terrible.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

But  :kugayfight: is worse than anyone. Their loss at CU tonight proved it.

Meh.  Everyone said the same thing about the Cats after the TTU game.  uk is still pretty solid.  Better than us.  I just hope this week's Cats show up for that game and not last week's cats.

I think uT will physically beat MU up next week. Gabbert is going to get hit on every passing play, which will be 40 or so times. That will make MU 0-3 heading up into the mountains to play the Buffies. Morale will be very low. Combine all this with the thin air, and I think we have a recipe for a close game. Since Stinkle can't coach his was out of a wet paper bag, I'll pick against Mizzou on the road against just about anyone in a close game.

Dude!  We can't worry about the "what ifs" we just got to take care of business first and let everthing else fall into place.

Wrong! I don't have a down of football left to play this season, I can worry about whatever the F I want. That Miami game in 2011 looks pretty scary!

remember the big12 championship game where Texas beat Colorado like 66-3? It would be even worse this year if we made it to Dallas  :-[

All I know is that things are a lot tighter the people thought.  The top 3 teams are not as good as people were saying and the bottom 3 are not as bad.  I thought maybe NU was the one legit team but watching them against Tech they have QB issues.  I still think they win the division because of their defense assuming they can get at least average QB play.  But there isn't a top 25 team in the North this season.

I just don't have that much respect for these coaches in the North right now.  Snyder is 70 and over the hill so he may not be able to get things turned and take control this thing.  But you put a prime Bill Snyder in this current division and he puts a clown suit on these guys inside of three seasons.   Call me crazy but the team to look out for going forward might be Iowa State.  They'll beat ku by 20 points in Ames next season and probably beat us in Arrowhead.

I think ISU, like us, have a lot of recruiting to do before they'll win in the division. However, I think they're heading in the right direction (so are we). All indications point to the north being suspect for the foreseeable future. After the wildcats and cyclones get their feet beneath them, the north should be an ugly 5-way race every year...CU may never really compete again.

It's crazy to think that 4-4 may be good enough to win the North.

It's crazier to think that we could win the North title and not be bowl eligible.

I'm still having a hard time believing a team that lost to LaLa just gave A&M their 3rd worst beatdown in their history.

I like the fact that we're setting ourselves up for a meltdown.  Not an epic meltdown mind you but one nonetheless.  It feels nice.    :whistle1:
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

Certainly wouldn't be the first time a team has looked bad early in a season and looked better towards the end of the season.  Said turnaround would be as much about the league falling apart as it would be about our team improving.

Not hard to believe....they're getting better....that's what happens....it takes time and they're schizophrenic as he11, but they're getting better.
