    Ready for Maize girls!
Incomplete, but still nice.

Perry Ellis went to Memphis.
Quinn Cook apparently hit up both Duke and UNC.

Was it really that bad?  Plus, with what the team is expected to be this year, I would have thought you would have wanted to promote the crap out of the team.  Plus, someone could have gone to the phog and bragged about how great Judge looked dunking a ball uncontested.

i thought i saw it written somewhere that the coaches decided against it.  maybe didn't feel like they deserved it after how last season ended.  humble and hungry.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
I think they went against it to promote a more family environment. No crazy events to sell KSU. Just the coaches and the university.
I walk out of that tunnel in this building and the passion of our fans, just gets me going. I mean just gives me an adrenaline rush that you guys just don't understand. - Frank Martin

No, that couldn't have been it because I was watching ESPNU last night and they showed scenes from the ku skits and dancefest.....now that was embarrassing, or should've been because if there was ever a reason to cancel an event, having/forcing your team and coaches to do that....well no wonder Frank declined.

    The very best.
we didn't have one because we are lazy. pathetic.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Really a good idea not to have one.  Recruits are more likely to go to ku's or other schools'/ our fans had a crap turnout last year/ Marketing dept does jack.  Better not to embarrass yourself and just invite recruits to campus for a 62-14 drubbing of a conference opponent.

You know who probably has details on this?  Captaincrap.  He seems to have a finger to the pulse of the school when it comes to this kind of stuff.  Wish he posted more.

I have heard that there is an open gym practice for the mens basketball team nest weekend before the CU game to replace midnight madness.  I'm planning on being there if this turns out to be true.
