    Hey, basketball!!!
when they played the pre-season men's basketball commercial during a time out? Not only with it playing on both of those huge screens in arrowhead but whenever it comes on @ the Bill all of the students/EMAW's just cheer and scream something of the sort, "Now that's something to get excited about!'

Oh, and how dominative did he feel when they played the ISU men's b-ball ad and showed the ticket sales for ISU men's b-ball on that little banner thing? (FM 4-0 against the Clones FWIW).

Man, it's good that with football rebuilding that we have basketball to lean back on. :skillz:

    The very best.
being good in basketball does nothing to help w/the football rebuilding.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'll throw out a disagreement on that one Fatty. Bringing recruits into a sold out OOD, students going crazy, chants of recruits names, and the energy of a BB victory can really help sell a kid on KSU.

The foundation for the DOD was being built from 1988 to 1993.  This would have been the end of the Lon Kruger and the Dana Altman coaching periods. Not exactly what I would call a toilet BB program at that time. DOD occurred during a toilet period in BB and by that time, FB didn't need the excitement of a BB game to help on recruiting weekends.

It had nothing to do with that. I was referring to thank god for having the basketball season after this because football is re-building.

    Angry KSU Fan.
I saw some football players get excited for that ad.  Amazing how tight the football and basketball players are.  Awesome to see them support each other.

when snyder was hired we had won the big 8 tournament more times than any other team and were 6th in the country in all-time NCAA tourney appearances

Frank was like a rockstar in the parking lot before the football game. Not rockstar like Rockstar Ron, but rockstar in his own way. A much more svelte and hip way.

I thought about walking behind him, just to follow in his footsteps.

That has a creepy, stalker-ish undertone to it.  If he caught you doing it, he'd kill you.

You make getting killed by Frank sound like a bad thing.
