I say Texas rolls.

Unless NU was holding back ... and maybe they were ... but I personally have never thought that "holding back" and supposedly "not showing" anything really paid off in the long run ... I sat in KSU stadium ... disassociated though I am last Saturday night and was thinking that if NU is the best the North has to offer ... it doesn't say much for KSU nor the North in general.

Sad how far the North has fallen, and frankly this year ... it's sad how far the Big 12 has fallen.

I say Texas wins by 10...i don't think NU is holding back much but this mentality of being aggressive early then getting ultra conservative once a lead is established is most definitely not going to fly against the Horns.  I'm pretty sure they're not going to get the chance to do that with the firepower texas has on offense, but if the huskers do end up with an early lead they better stay aggressive for all 60 minutes if they expect to hang around in the game.

game is at memoryless stadium.  I think Texas is looking like this is a walkover, especially after reading this board

In no way am I wishing for this but I actually believe that this is the upset pick of the week.  The fuskers by 3.  31-28
" and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me," Carl Spackler

I think Texas will win, but it will be tight, and more of a defensive struggle....so say something like 24-21 Texas. If NU can run the ball effectively, control the clock,  and set up some play action, they might have a shot. Our front seven on defense can be dominant, but I still have some serious questions about our secondary, particularly against the caliber of WR that Texas will roll out there.

Next year, with Bowman, Jones, Thenarse, and Grixby, the defense will be better able to match up to the top teams. Losing Bowman in preseason was a huge blow to being competitive in these matchups this year.

Both teams will play great defense on Saturday....  Who gives a phlying phuck who wins?

Bet the game total UNDER 50 and find a hot stripper to spend your winnings on.

22-20 Texas, so I was pretty close. If Nunn hadn't fumbled late after getting the first down, we would have held on to win. Good game though, and we'll get a rematch in the Big 12 Championship game.

F'ing Nunn, fumbles, does not fair catch, and the hail Mary bounces off him.

Yeah, Nunn cost us field position on a couple of kick returns, and then fumbled to lose us the game. He's definitely the Goat of this game. Nice to keep it close against Texas, and to really be the team that should have won. It's nice to see that we're moving in the right direction.
