I have some friends who might want tickets to this game...I remember 2 years ago when they had one of their best teams ever and a total of somewhere between 1 - 12 of their fans attended the game in manhattan*.  Will they be returning gobs of tickets again this year, or will their bandwagon fans scoop them up?

*(perhaps related to Jake Sharp?)

Unrelated note: I had a first the other day....met a Jayhawk fan, and after talking for a few minutes found out this guy had actually gone to school there!

This is rare indeed, did you ask to see proof?  Could have been a lie.

That is really rare, particularly in the JoCo area of KC.

I've got my tickets ordered.  I've only been on the bandwagon 2 decades: oh well.  The way ksu's season is going, I'd be more worried about how many ksu fans show up if I were you.  Maybe you can sell them for $9 a piece?  Or just give them away through a local merchant.  Hey it worked for th U-Mass game.

Nothing like handing out thousands of complimentary tickets to ensure a "record" crowd, and the 12 different ticket packages ku has to try and move tickets.

People tend to avoid Manhattan for various reasons.  Just not a fun place if you're a ku fan.

OK, here's the deal.  Everyone is entitled to one beer compliments of sd.  They will be distributed by Rick Daris at his house. He will also be the one who purchases them.  I may or may not be in attendance.  This is the only fair way to get this done.  I mean, I'm not made of beers people.

Yeah, who wouldn't enjoy being called a "fag" at every other turn and being threatened with violence simply for wearing a ku shirt?  The inferiority complex will be out in full force once again this year.

You know Ben . . . I know you want to believe that, but for every dumbass anecdotal story you can come up with about how ku people were supposedly treated in Manhattan, I can come up with a similar dumbass anectodal story about how K-State people were treated in Lawrence.

I always get made fun of in Lawrence. It's so frustrating.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

you sound like a real whiny puss. I'm serious.

This post makes it obvious you don't travel very much...and that fits your alma mater quite well.

Any time you go to a road game expect to catch some crap. This happens everywhere...especially if you're a ku doucher running your mouth on the East side tailgate section. Just a hypothetical.

I've had great experiences in places like Boulder and Stillwater.  Manhattan is just plagued by the inferiority complex of all things ku.  Seriously... I'd rather stay in Lawrence and watch the game in HD than go to Manhattan and nearly get curb-stomped for wearing a ku shirt.
