Feel Like Makin' Love - Roberta Flack     :cyclist:

I don't think I have heard this song before but it sounds like it might be something to have playing in the background while trying to get down with the ladies.

Miss You by the Rolling Stones

:dunno:

The Look by Roxette (the year I turned 11), Man in the Mirror by MJ (the year I turned 10. That video creeped me out), Never Gonna Give You Up (the year I turned 10), Physical (I was 3), Lady (I was 2), Everybody Wants To Rule The World (I was almost 7 - Same year the Royals won the World Series), To Be With You (I was almost 14).

Now if you'll excuse me I want to go cry!

:crybaby:

Hey.....I wasn't alive yet when Convoy came out!

That's the first song I remember being #1 on Billboard.  4 weeks.  Still crank that song everytime I hear it. :lolrun:

Convoy was written by Chip Davis aka Mannheim Steamroller.  That's pretty elite.  My song is some Rod Stewart Cheese--Tonight's the Night.  Funny, since I ran into Rod in Las Vegas one time.  You may have seen a South Park about it.

Anyway I used to listen to most of your birthing songs on the radio--Roxette kicks ass.  You don't know who they are?  Phil Collins--awesome.  Jump--awesome.  Say Say Say---SUCKED.  I feel sorry for the kids being born today who will look at this and find out some crappy rap song is their birthday number 1.

Angie Baby - Helen Reddy

Never heard the song before or even heard of the artist.  I guess that's bad.   :frown:

Helen Reddy recorded songs like "I am Woman", "Delta Dawn", "Leave Me Alone (Ruby Red Dress)" and "Angie Baby" in the '70's.

Yeah, I kind of figured she recorded songs in the 1970's considering that's when I was born.   ;)

Would be cool to be younger and have an elite song from the 80's like some of these people, though.  I'm very jealous.

All I wanted was a good/well known #1 song the day that I was born, that's all, but guess there is no such thing as a "good song" on 6/15/90. :frown:

Love Without End, Amen - George Strait was number one for 5 weeks.

Quit your bitchin you little punk.  There are far worse songs out there than It Must Have Been Love by Roxette.  Ever seen the movie "Pretty Woman"?

Money For Nothing - Dire Straits

Never heard of it before.  Listening now, it's not so bad.  A little dull maybe.  The 80's had a ton of terrible music and I was afraid of being stuck with one of those songs.

Great example of one of those terrible 80's songs.  My wife's birthday #1: Papa Don’t Preach - Madonna.  Basically a song about saying "Dad, I'm pregnant with a shady man's baby and I'm keeping it."  To the beat of terrible music.   :yuck:
