Beware this may get a little  :powertard:, but I think I will make some good points.

I went back and watched all of the ULL game( i know :yuck:) But I came away with a few obsevations...
We can run the ball, period. If you dont believe me go back and watch the second half. We held the ball for over 15 min and it was all DT to the right, with a coffman lead or option every few plays. This really set up the improved passing in the second half. Now Carson still needs to get the accuracy down, but point is guys were open.
Counter this with the awsomeness of DT in the Wildcat with KV next to him and I really think we can give UCLA matchup problems. The started off slow with silly penalties, but again if you watch the second half of ULL you wont see any silly penalties.

And even though we gave up that pass to set up the FG, the defense played with fire, and were going against the second most experienced line in the NCAA.

Do I think we can beat UCLA? Yes, but We will know the first offensive series, cause if we can move the ball and get some early points, I think the defense will be motivated and play hard.
Kicking game....... Guess we will see....

Love your  :ksu: .....

but It was against ULL...

and we lost...

I do agree though, If DT and Valentine are in the backfield it COULD create matchup problems with UCLA. I really think Snyder should let DT throw the ball like 3-4 times out of the Wildcat..

I somewhat agree with your assesment, but we are a fragile team. This won't be ULL, its UCLA who has beaten Tenn twice in 2 years. Last year after beating Tenn in the Rose Bowl, they went to BYU and got hammered by 8 touchdowns. Yes we have a chance, but we have to play well for 4 qtrs, UCLA could play well for two qtrs, and still win.

Matchup problems?  Like which scholarship worthy athlete do we stick on that walk-on level sack of crap Valentine?

There's a major flaw in that.  UCLA supposedly has a very good, experienced front seven on D.  We're screwed.
