sleeping on stomach vs. back vs. side

this is alway scary. you think you lost your arm but it alway comes back.

OMG so scary.  Someone do some research and see if anyone has ever lost an arm due to this....because I swear I've been close.  Like, it was very cold to the touch and everything

A story about "dead arm".  I once woke up with my left arm totaly asleep.  The wierd part was that my left hand was on my face and it felt like someone elses hand because I had no feeling in my left hand.  I ended up grabbing it with my right hand and trying to throw it, which only made my left shoulder hurt.  Freaked me out at the time.

This is my specific stomach sleeping style:

head on just the edge of the pillow so my mouth and nose are slightly elevated above the bed.

Each arm under the sides of the pillows. Here is a picture:

i sleep on back half the time and on stomach half the time. if on stomach i have to sleep w/ the pillow at a little bit of an angle and my head tilted towards the right with my right arm above my head and my left elbow out w/ hand close to chin.

Can't believe you included your left leg being amputated below the knee.  Thought you were self concious abou that?

Also, where are your feet?  Why are you wearing see through shorts? Are you bald or do you choose to shave your head?  Accurate size of your nose in proportion to the rest of your head?

When I sleep on my stomach I usually cup my junk with my right hand and have my left arm under the pillow.  I also woke up the other day with a dead arm (was sleeping on my back at the time.)  I was freaking out because I could not feel anything in fact I thought my arm had fallen off and I was looking all over for it.  Was above my head and had to use the other hand to pick it up.  Freaked me out.

I sleep in a chair with straps for medical reasons.

Also when sleeping on your stomach it helps to use a very thin pillow.  My pillow is about the thickness of a birthday cake.  Not a multi-tiered cake either, but just a normal birthday cake that you might buy from the store and bake yourself.

Those are all very valid questions, but I have a few to add.  Why is one of your arms roughly twice the length of the other?  Is that to compensate for the 1 1/2 legs thing?  Also, why do you not have any visible male genitalia?  Is it an "innie?"

I've woken up on stomach with right arm curled up around my head and when my eyes open and see my right hand there it literally makes my heart skip a beat because my arm is so dead asleep it shocks my self to see it laying there.
