Your point about post 99 signings only highlights the recruiting failures after the '98 exodus. I'd argue that ku and mu could have had a similar list between the time frame of '95/96 - '99 but it wouldn't have included the all Big 12 players that are on my
list, and I think that's the point.
Then: KSU gets Newman, ku gets Harrison Hill
Now: ku gets Jake Sharp, KSU gets Jeremy Reed
From a talent standponit, we dominated KS and got good playeres out of Missouri. The quantity of players that went to ku might have been the same, but not the quantity. KS and MO aren't the end all be all of recruiting for KSU, but it should be a part of it (it almost has to be a part of it).
