You can't be racist and like basketball.
I think TOP is a silly statistic.  There's a lot of good teams at the bottom of the list, and a lot of bad teams at the top (Temple #7!)

I agree with Prince, 3rd down conversions and starting drive position are much more important and telling.

Arkansas seems to be doing fine in 118th position.

The most meaningless stat in the history of the world.

Anyone going to turn down one minute TD drives?!

Incredibly, there are people that subscribe to that logic.

I honestly heard Herm Edwards talking about how Vermeil's offense was too "quick strike" on KK's show a few weeks back.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Why score fast when you can not score at all.

Scoring seems so ... so ... mean.

2 major problems with this offense; 3rd down conversions and red zone offense.

28.3% on 3rd down conversions is horrendous.  A big part of our 3rd down problems is that we are constantly in 3rd and long, which limits our options and makes things much easier for the defense.  In our last 4 games, we've needed nearly 9 yards per 3rd down.

52.6% and only 4 TDs in 19 trips in the redzone is worse.  1st, we've made only 19 trips (lowest in the league) to the redzone.  We've turned it over twice, turned it over on downs twice, and missed 3 FGs as well as had one blocked.  Then we had one meaningless trip into the redzone where we ran out the clock (Marshall).

Of course, both of those are symptoms of overall problems with the offense.  Our problems on 3rd down and in the redzone reflect overall issues in the offense that have been discussed over and over here.  Until we can establish a running game consistently, find a way to mix things up either by formation or playcalling consistently, or make more big plays in the passing game, then those statistics will continue to drag the bottom of the league, and we'll struggle to win games.
