    The very best.
Say we beat ISU and ku (good possibility)

CU is basically eliminated
ku will be if they lose to Baylor, and we take care of them to end the season
ISU is screwed.

So that leaves KSU, NU and MU in the north

In the south..

OU, UT and Aggy are all going bowling.

That leaves

Baylor...3-4...remaining schedule:
ku
AtM
@Tech
@OSU
Oklahoma

OSU...4-2..remaining schedule:
Texas A&M
Nebraska
@Texas
Baylor
@Tech
Oklahoma

Texas Tech....4-3...remaing schedule:
@ISU
Texas
Baylor
@OU
Oklahoma state

So...let's say out of TTU, BU and OSU...one doesn't get bowl eligible. That leaves 8 teams eligible..NU,UT,AtM,OU,OSU,BU,MU,KSU  :dancin:

How many bowl bids you ask?

 Holiday Bowl*
 Texas Bowl
 Cotton Bowl*
 BCS Bid*
 Sun Bowl*
 Insight Bowl*
 Alamo Bowl*
 Houston Bowl

8

*denotes unlikely scenario

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    It's good to be good again!
FYI....the Houston Bowl is now called the Texas Bowl and will be broadcast on the NFL channel.  It has been taken over by the marketing arm of the Houston Texans.

I'd rather not go to any bowl game. Would local TV try to pick it up if this is what happens?

If you mean local by the stations in Kansas I'm guessing it would be offered.  I doubt any of the local stations here would pick it up.

As far as not going to a bowl game versus going to one.....it is always better to go.  The extra practice plus keeping (or starting) a bowl streak alive is always the best choice for the program.  Beside, a bowl game in Houston would be very nice for my travel plans.   :D

    You can't be racist and like basketball.
There's no way the NFL network lets anything it broadcasts offerred locally, just like there's no way going to the Texas Bowl is worse than staying home.

We need those extra 3 weeks of practice that come with bowl eligibility more than we need anything at this point.
Please Mr.Ronald Prince, please make a bowl.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Whoops...I was under the impression that they were using those games as leverage to get the NFL Network included in basic TV packages.

There is also the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, LA.  I know, it's easy to forget, but the Big XII does have a tie in there if there is still an eligible team available.  The SEC has the other slot.
