I just bought a book at Varneys ($200 accounting book  :curse:) and I was walking back through the ville and there was a crowd of about 30 people and a 49 news crew in front of Tubbys. Then a black suv pulls up and everyone started clapping. Then, of all people, Tim Fitzgerald steps out followed by some other losers and runs into Tubby's.

Wtf?

I drove by about the same time and saw the 49 crew. Taped my car as i drove by. Was wondering when to expect to see me on tv.  :gocho:

If i knew Fitz was involved...FML

People still buy books? Lmao.

Out of curiosity, what is the alternative to buying books now-a-days?  Is everything .pdf now?  It's been a while since I was at KState, so it's an honest question here.

Bought some e-books this semester and saved a ton.  For two bucks a book it's not a bad deal.  Not an undergrad so, thankfully, I don't have to mess with textbooks anymore, and I'm not sure if that is an option for them.

I noticed Amazon has like 35K textbooks available for Kindle.  They're like 10 bucks apiece, or so.  Can't imagine how much money I would have saved, you can buy a Kindle for less than the price of one semester's books.  Oh, and I guess you don't have to kill a bunch of trees and all that.
