It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

daris, i drove by around 5 today. (didn't see any eagle planes on the taxi unfortunately)

there was a hyvee catering van on the taxis, a tent, and water everywhere ( i think they may have done that firetruck thingy)

The parking lot was packed, and the AA sign on K-18..when I saw it...well..lets just say it was  a good moment.

Incredible day for the MHK. I still have my doubts the service stays.

go cats!

good to see that hyvee has only been in town for like five minutes and they are already absolutely just owning.

why don't you think the service stays. from what i can tell...the only reason the service would leave would be if we don't get nbaf. you don't think we'll get nbaf?

Rick, i worry about demand. i check orbtiz like fifteen times a day to see how many seats are sold, and some are kind of empty.

the ORD dream seems pretty ridic.

but i think everyone involved had a pretty good idea that there would be a lot of empty seats, especially initially. that's why the state agreed to throw in a million or two. had to do it to be taken seriously for the nbaf bid. once nbaf comes (if it does) the area will then be bigger and more able to support. ft riley will be bigger too by then.

Daris, we can only hope and pray.

Maybe in 5 years w/nbaf we'll have that ORD connections. Then, well, there is nothing stopping this city from being #1 in the world.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
Just saw that the Cotton Bowl office tweeted JC, thanking him for the visit.

It hurts my eyes every time I look at that site.

They obviously don't know about the NBAF.
