Two plays cost us that game.....

1. The fake Field Goal (which I didn't see coming) and
2. the non call on the push in the back on NU's last TD

I don't know whether to be encouraged or discouraged by that.

I disagree.  They pretty much handled us when the game was in the balance. we were pretty bad, but they controlled the LOS for the most part.

    shame on you, non-believers
The trenches on both sides of the ball were a slaughter, Desert Storm style...and we were not the United States.

That's not my point.....As bad as we were up front, we were still two plays from a 7-3 game where anything can happen.

i also think the decision to not call the timeout before the punt at the end of the second quarter, if we are going to attempt to throw the ball to get in scoring position, was huge as well.  they let probably 40 seconds run off the clock on that play alone.  if we had scored a touchdown there the game would have turned out much different.

That was the other thing that I didn't mention. We've done a nice job of having our timeouts at the end of halves but they don't help you if you don't use them. That was a bad decision.

That comment is silly.

Yes, it was desert storm style for their DL vs. our OL but not their OL vs. our DL.

They struggled protecting their passer and while their running game was definitely good enough to win they got half their yards on 3 running plays and that was about the backs making guys miss and breaking tackles, not the OL.  Jackson's 48 yard run in the 1st half was stopped up and he cut back and then froze the outside contain.

Yes, their DL destroyed our OL but our DL played fine...not great but fine.

Close, they let 53 seconds run off the clock.  I counted it down from the point we should have called a timeout.  53 F*CKING SECONDS!!!!!!!

I just watched Prince's coaches show and he took responsibility for the clock mismanagement at the end of the 1st Half.

Pretending like the game was close enough that two plays would have changed the result is just asinine. NU blew you off the field. Had we wanted to put up 50 points, we easily could have.

You couldn't do that.  There was nothing shown you could have put 50 points on KSU.

That's why you can't let this win influence you into believing that you understand football better than say.. a rock.

Congrats on your victory.   You won't win another one against us again.

Hey Nimrod.

We're just a better program than you are. If you think Prince can turn things around, you're deluding yourselves. We have better players, coaches, fans, facilities, history, and a better athletic program. KSU's run is over.

Nice response.  You couldn't even answer the facts as they were, and retorted to the same old tired argument that you're just better than we are.

You're just showing us all how little you actually know.

That's easily the most asinine comment I've seen all week out of any cobsucker!!  And, trust me when I saw that there's been some stupid chit spewn over here!!

Do you honestly think that they only wanted to score 21 points??

2. the non call on the push in the back on NU's last TD

One thing that makes me sicker than anything is fans bitching about blown calls...  Would we have tackled that guy if he wasn't pushed in the back?  He was already in the friek'n endzone.  Get over it.

The only room anyone has had to complain about blown calls were the pass interference calls a couple of weeks ago when the crowd yelled bullsh1t for 5 minutes.

Point is we lost Saturday because we had 20 yards rushing.  Not because the refs hate us, not because our D couldn't shut them out, not because we didn't QB sneak it, not because we have the craptiest fans in america that don't sell out a stadium and sell their tickets to the highest bidder to try recover some of their "losses" because they bought season tickets for a losing season.

I agree with this post. Pretending like the game was close is just delusional.
