My gut reaction to this is to ask how the hell this guy gets to play...then I remember that we had M. Bishop start for a couple years and that guy can barely spell his name much less get C's in college classes.

No . . . just laughing at you remembering what a huge ass deal you used to make out of Bishop, meanwhile absolute $hit for brains guys like the before mentioned fellas always manage to stay eligible at ku, hell they even make the Dean's list in some cases.

LOL . . . hoax, come on dude, don't give up so easy. If this was the Tardville board and I said that you'd get all bold and brave and write a 10 or 12 liner about the whole litany of stuff K-State did to get Bishop in school. Then the fellow Tardvillians would all pile on with their little anecdotes, and then someone would reference the US News and World Report College Rankings and you'd feel all validated and glowing inside. Right about then DocStalkSmith would add the proverbial cherry on top about the "beat down" . . . LOL.

It is entirely possible that one or more of the POWERCAT players are having similar academic issues at this time. Likely even. But I don't know for sure. No one probably does. Probably because no one gives a sh1t. Know why no one gives a sh1t? Its because they suck. All of them. There was a retarded kid on my 7th grade basketball team (and no it wasn't me, silly). Anyway, as you might imagine, his grades were lackluster. I'd even bet that the opposing teams that we faced throughout north central kansas guessed that he wasn't a mathlete. (beacuse he was ugly and retard-looking) But these teams didn't mind that he was on the team. Know why they didn't mind? Because he sucked. That's why. K-State is a retarded kid.

As far as basketball goes, as I stated the deal with guys like Walker and Beasley have to be repeated numerous times . . . look at ku; it took 53 years, 5 probations, and truckloads of additional sleaze to compile 3 National Titles. K-State has a long way to go on that front . . . a long way . . . that's why we all implore Frank to pick up the pace.

Bishop brought us a Fiesta Bowl victory and a number one overall ranking. He also brought us to the B12CCG (and subsequently fumbled it away). Not bad for two seasons.
