how CU gets votes in that poll every year.  There has got to be some rule about Dan Hawkins not voting his team 24th to start each and every season.

Irrelevant.  ku will get ranked when they chomp the soft, creamy outer portion of their schedule (first 5 games--noncon + Iowa State).  Then they'll drop 4 or 5 of the remaining 7.

Tech won't take long to get ranked, I've read their QB is awesome.
