states you've spent the most time in and why.

1. kansas- born here, raised here and have lived here all of my life except for 1 yr.
2. colorado- lived here for one year. lived in the springs. got to travel all over southern colorado for my job. it was decent.
3. arkansas- almost had to move to nw arkansas in middle school. lived there for two months over the summer. didn't end up moving. like the area but glad i didn't move.
4. texas- had to spend a good amount of time in dallas a few years ago. went to padre multiple times. have prob spent around 40 days in texas.
5. florida- love florida. would move to the beach and be a bum if possible. not really possible though.

replace Colorado and Arkansas with Arizona and Illinois.

1.  Kansas, Obvious
2.  Illinois, family/in laws live there, stay in chicago for several weeks/year
3.  Az, dads best friend lives there, used to go to phoenix like every spring break with fam.
4.  Texas, Family trips, spring break in college
5.  Florida, nothing more than vacations.  Sanibel, orlando.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

people shouldn't list vacation states, imo.  if you have to stop your list @ 1 or 2, just do it.  exercise some god-damned restraint.

    Ready for Maize girls!
1.  Illinois - spent a total 9 years there, pre-k through 1st grade, then 7th grade through all of high school.  Peoria area.
2.  Missouri - spent 5 years in STL going to college and some grad school.
3.  Kansas - more grad school at KSU.
4.  Iowa - born and lived in quad cities til i was 4 or something like that.
5.  Minnesota/South Dakota - toss up, lots of family in each state, rents now retired and live in northern MN.

*Extra bonus - lived 4 years in England (their equivalent of 3rd through 6th grade), so it would fit up in there with KS/IA but it ain't exactly a state.

do you keep up on recruiting & stuff for your stl school?

I went to SLU, and they don't have a football team (soccer is king) but I stay up a little bit on SLU hoops and recruiting.  KSU is really the first BIG school I've ever gone to

1. Kansas - Born here and lived here my whole life
2. Colorado - I've had family in and out of the state my whole life
3. Missouri - Used to go to a Royals game every summer during the "Good 'Ole Days"
4. Arkansas - We vacationed there when I was a kid but I barely remember it
5. Nebraska - Went to a KSU vs. Nebraska football game there
6. Texas - Went to a Cotton Bowl there
7. Oklahoma - Passed through there on the way to the Cotton Bowl

Sorry about that. I wrote my response quickly this morning without reading the question.

You don't really travel much, do you.

i think forcing people to go to five is part of the charm. i wanna know if someones #2 is missouri because they drove there to buy fireworks in september once. or if wisconsin is #3 because their grandparents funeral was there when they were in fifth grade. just a jmo here though just an imo.

1. Missouri - born and raised in the bootheel and currently live close to Gladstone in KC.  huge Cardinals fan so being able to make it back for baseball games and 1.75 hours from Manhattan is EMAWesome.

2. California - did a 7 month internship in the south bay area (palo alto).  weather is &@#%ing beautiful year round, great golf close by, and no misquitos.

3. Kansas - college......... loved every second i was there (except all the hours spent in studio  :banghead:).

4. Arizona - lived here for 10 months after graduating from KSU.  loved it down there, but it seemed i was flying back to MO more than i was there so i decided to move to KC.  would like to move back here or the bay area if the job market ever has an up-swing.

5. Illinois - did a summer internship in the DeKalb area (northern illinois u. located here).  summers were nice, cheap golf, and only an hour drive to Chicago

True dat.

On my list I have South Dakota.  We always count the Wall Drug signs on I-29 and I-90 on the way.  It is  :cheesy: but what else are you going to do on the drive ?

1. Kansas-Lived here all my life.   :kstatriot:

2. Texas-  Was in Lubbock for 4 months working.  Went back there for two weeks in July for some more work.
Have been to a Cotton Bowl (BYU), several Nascar races, and South Padre once.

3. Missouri-  Family in KCK.  Spent a lot of time in MO for Royals/Chiefs games and whatever else was going on.
Spent six weeks doing a job on Table Rock lake.  We actually stayed in Holiday Island, Arkansas but
                 the jobsite was in Mo.

4.  Arkansas-  See #3

5.  Florida-  Been down there several times to visit family.

---Have to add I spent a week in Wyoming and absolutely loved it.  If we were ranking by enjoyment level instead of duration, I'd have to rank WY #2.  Also, Colorado and Nevada give Florida a close run for #5.  Been to both places more times but not for as long of stays  but the days are really close, especially CO.
