    Hey, basketball!!!
I'll be there for a week. I'm flying continental, flight leaving @ 6:10 a.m. on Saturday morning. :banghead: On the way there, flying out of Wichita & getting a connecting flight in Houston (Nice airport? Never been there). Landing @ the Jacksonville airport (Is it nice? I'd imagine so)...

On the way back we're getting a connecting flight in Dallas (love this airport).

Never been to Ormond Beach before. Has anyone?

Trying to get some ?'s answered by my friends @ ksufans... :)

    The very best.
question winters, how does one get from the main terminal to the passenger terminals @ orlando? train, walk, subway, car...

it's a fascinating design, congrats.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Houston sucks, sorry  :frown:  Never been to Jacksonville.  I would imagine it would be small towny type airport like OMA or MCO.  Could be quirky and fun.  Take photos.  Is Ormand Beach on Atlantic or Gulf?  If Atlantic congrats.  If Gulf  :scared:

F YEAH!!!

Hate it when it's so crowded, don't even have a pole to hang on to.

Also love the hotel inside Orlando airport. Wouldn't it be cool to wake up to the sights and sounds of a busy airport in the morning, walk out on the balcony overlooking the food area?

Yeah, that hotel always made me laugh.  I can imagine an older fff taking a family vacation to Orlando and just staying at the aiport hotel.  Would get up real early to take the kids on tram rides and get a TJ Cinnabunz.

slightly OT, but I remember the Charlotte airport well.  Had rocking chairs in the concourses, and some dude playing a white grand piano.

San Diego aiport had this guy rocking one of those electric stand up 15 string guitar things at baggage claim.  It was mesmorizing.  Would make for a relaxing vacation time.

Orlando-Tram . . . yes.

Charlotte . . . main terminal has an entire line of white rocking chairs . . . also power outlets close by, excellent place to sit and do PC stuff while not using battery power .  . . piano makes it extra elite.
