1 - @ NU 06/07, 07/08, 08/09: it's like losing to a blind kid in nascar
2 - Oregon 07/08:  still can't believe Jake got called for that goddamn charge
3 - ku 08/09:  ku's superbowl proves to be too much

This exactly.  The losses to Tech would be 4th.

interesting, my def. of devastating is devastating to me personally. AKA, losses to UT or ku.

oregon? who cares. nu? meh. that''s nothing like losing to ku on our homefloor, or UT when an NCAA bid awaits.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm not sure if I can put a finger on why those games bothered me the most.  Perhaps it's the idea of consistently losing to the same inferior teams.  Perhaps I've become too conditioned to losing to ku.  Obviously, if you interpret "devastating" to mean "hurt our program the most"  it would be whichever losses were the difference between NIT and NCAA in the two NIT years.  In that case, the ku and UT losses would have made the biggest difference...so ultimately you're right.   :AA:

In chronological order:
07 aTm:  Tough loss of game combined with tougher loss of Walker. <-Surprised this has received no votes so far.
08 BU:  Two guys score more than 30, and we still lose?  GMAFB
09   Painful Chisholm trail loss.

07 MU- Pretty much all been said already. We should have won this game. &@#% this game, and &@#% Mike Anderson for reinstating his entire team just in time for us. Douche.
06 Texas AM- We blew a lead on the road and lost Bill Walker for the season, turning point for the entire season.
07 Texas Tech- They were awful, but still killed us because of some three point assassin, and some douchey European center that I wanted to punch sooo bad.

At the time, hard to get past that MU loss in Columbia.  Could've meant bigger things for that season and seeding in the dance.  Maybe we have a bit more confidence then and don't lose to Tech down there after.  Could've sent season from "very good" to "great".  JMHO.
