Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
anybody rooting against Lance on this tour?  i'd like to see some other american win it like his teamate with the great name, Levi Leipheimer (sp?)

it would also be cool if George Hincapie from team Garmin could win it.

today is an off day after 3 days in the first round of mountain stages.  the head to the Alps next week.  Armstrong currently sits 3rd in the standings pour le maillot de jaune

btw, i had no idea that he came out of retirement until late last week.

If you know so much about cycling how did you not know Lance was coming back?  Only people I have ever heard of in cycling are Lance and F. Landis, and I knew about it like forever ago.

Traditionally for KSUFans.com, the Tour de France has its own thread in Classless Cats.

If you are really cycling fans, you can add to the discussion there.

Oh, no you can't, because you don't have access.  How classless is that !

I heard someone say this last week and it made perfect sense.....

Of course Lance Armstrong is doping. Everybody else is and he still kicks their a**e* so obviously he is too. No reason to watch this garbage.

Well, let's look at the facts as we know them:

What other sport tests for doping in the systematic way that cycling does ?

Major League Baseball's test is an intellegence test.  They test once a year and the date is known well in advance.

Cycling tests the winner of the stage (or race, if a one day race), the race leader and several randoms among the race participants.  So yes, cycists get caught if they are doping.  The other thought is using performance enhancing drugs that 'slip' by the tests.

At least cycling is trying to to systematically reduce doping with the testing done.  Many riders have been stripped of wins and/or been banned for a period of time from racing.

Could Armstrong be doping ?  The answer is yes, he could be.  He has been tested a bunch of times and this year as well.   So he is either hiding it well, paying someone off, or not doping.

catsfans20052006 and others, I leave it to you to decide for yourselves.  Personally, I don't think Armstrong is doping.  Drinking beer after the TDF, yes.

Whats your opinion on Landis?  Guilty?  Framed by the French ?

IMO, Landis doped.  Samples A and B were tested by different independent labs and both tested positive.

Have any of you idiots heard of Mark Cavendish?  Alberto Contador?  How about Miguel Indurain?  Just wondering what the non-classless public knows about cycling.  I know the tards on ESPN can't even get the names right.

Landis is prolly guilty, but I'm still not sure what potion he took that turns you into superman for 24 hours.  Armstrong was surely cheating earlier in his career, but it turns out that there's certain people who have amazing physical gifts that are basically as good as cheating.  Lance Armstrong and Greg Lemond are two examples.

Both Armstrong and Kloden are on Astana.  They are some of the 'randoms' being tested...
