Go to Wheat Fields and check out the menu. Toss it down in disgust. Go eat at First Watch and feel grass-rootsy at half the price.

Also, stop and ask for directions to the new Wal-Mart a lot and tell everyone you heard it was awesome and super-cheap compared to this criminally expensive "mom and pop" stores.

I watched Fred Brown wait till there was a line and then just waltz by all security with a girl like he owned the place.  Not exactly difficult to get in.

Had to go to a wedding in lawrence on Saturday, first vehicle I saw when pulling into the city limits has a "Rebel" personalized license plate and a confederate flag sticker on the back windshield, and I'm pretty sure I saw self driving....

me and some of my frat brothers were forced to hang in Lawrence for the weekend (helping w/rush). there was literally nothing to do (no bars, no tail) so we settled for smashing some mail boxes near kivisko field.

I checked out Allen Fieldhouse and Memorial Stadium yesterday, unwillingly, with other family members who are all ku grads. I saw Memorial from the hill yesterday by the bell tower thing. The place seriously looks like a high school stadium form the outside. They were also putting in new turf so the field had a bunch of gravel, rocks, and machines on it.

It's mildly bigger/more impressive that Haskel but seriously not much.  The inside of the stands and the inside of Haskel's are almost identical.  Allen is kind of a craphole too, but at least it has history.
