    The very best.
If you haven't been arrested/jailed you are basically a complete loser that needs to get out more often.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Is this why you can't finish college?

I watched scared straight and decided right then that I didn't want some dude 'tossing my salad'. :ohno:Side note, I was way to young to know what 'tossing of the salad' meant.
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

Got fingerprinted and photographed.

And that was before dinner.

Hey-oh.

For real though I had to get finger printed and photographed for jail-purposes.

A really bad alcohol induced choice.  I.E.- getting behind the wheel.  Was busted by a sheriff and the county I was in did not offer diversion.  If I would have been busted by a city cop, could have got diversion.  Had to serve 48 hrs.  Granted, not hard time by any means, but the longest 48 hrs of my life all the same and definately enough to get my attention.  Plus had to go to all the bs classes, counseling, and meetings.  NOT FUN!!!

Here's the best tip you'll ever get if you get sentenced to any term in jail/pen.  When they put you through the evaluation routine, be a perfect citizen and exhibit as much remorse, willingness to rehabilitate, and general passiveness as you possibly can.  This is where they make the determinations between security levels (at least in Kansas).

So, you go in there and ask like a badass, and they'll stick your ass in a maximum security where you'll be raped much more frequently.  In contrast, act peaceful and you'll stand a much, much better chance of getting the minimum security assignment.

You still would have had to do all of the classes, counseling and meetings if you had gotten a diversion. Also would have had to do jail time. Only thing it does is save a bit on your DL. Plus, it would have cost alot more money to get it diverted.

question for you TBL:

if i completed my diversion for an mip in MHK, they say it comes off my record. does it really come off? or if an employer or if i wanted a top security clearance, will it show up? always wondered this.

Depends. Depends on many factors. Were you actually arrested? If you had your fingerprints taken, it'll remain on your criminal history forever. Unless you petition the court to expunge your record. Then it depends on the court. If you just got a ticket, and never had fingerprints taken (although sometimes an arrest report is done for a misdemeanor that only a ticket was written for), then the diversion, once completed, could have wiped it off the court's records. Maybe. Only way to tell, is to wait until the diversion is completed, then pay the KBI to have them run your criminal history for you. Sorry for being long winded, but there are a lot of variables.
