sorry to interupt... mjrod, you're of spanish descent?  like recently, or way back in the family?  what part of spain?  assuming you don't mind me asking.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

No, family heritage.  Back in the late 1700's my family came from Spain and settled in San Antonio. My Grandmother spent years going back and researching the family lines.

While I have to admit that I'm not an expert on *geology*, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't San Antonio PART of Mexico in the 1700's??

You shouldn't make smack when you can't even get your science disciplines right.

It's GEOGRAPHY, and YES it was in San Antonio, in Mexico.  Not sure your point.

Ahh.... But, I CAN get my science disciplines right!!!!  Why the hell do you think I made a special point to use asterisks to *highlight* the word geology?!?!

At any rate, the point is the fact that your Spanish ancestors had become Mexicans BEFORE the US annexed that part of Beanerville.  Hell, I've got some German heritage, but I don't run around claiming to be a Nazi...
