I caution people against this way of thinking. I remember when the Lakers had Shaq, Kobe, Gary Payton and Karl Malone and everybody said they were a lock to win the Championship. They got to the Finals and lost to the Pistons in 5. What about Cleveland? Boston? San Antonio? Orlando? Also, why are we so quick to dismiss Denver? Didn't they just push the Lakers to 6? They would have won that series in 6 had they been able to execute a late game inbounds pass.
