"I want to assure you of this, I've been at Kansas State University and I've been in Manhattan now for 20 years -- Bill Snyder has never taken a penny above and beyond what was offered in his contract, and often times (has taken) less than that."

Applause interrupted Snyder's final sentence.

"I know you get upset with me when we lose a ballgame every now and then. That part, I certainly understand," he continued. "But I want you to understand -- I believe you do, as the response I've received has been really overwhelming -- that this has been difficult for me and difficult for my family. Most of my family is in and around Manhattan, Kansas. This has been a difficult time for them. All five of our children have gone through Kansas State University. This is not easy for them.

"I appreciate that you have been so special to me, to my family, all of our children. I thank you for that. I thank you for being the great K-Staters that you are."

It's like, every time I make the mistake of starting to doubt or not like him he kicks me in the head with his EMAW toed boot and I'm back on board.

who really criticized Bill? Whitlock?  610 sports?  Those are quite possibly the two most irrelevant things in the KC sports scene.  I think the Wizards and T-bones are more popular than those two.

about the audit report stuff?  the only thing I criticized him about was the 5year contract for his son, which, imo was warranted criticism.

for reals.  the whole "we support bill snyder" thing from the pres and currie was kind of stupid, imo.  gave way too much importance to fat columnists and dumbsticks.

But, but, but the "undocumented" payments . . . they funneled thousands to recruits, and to cover up things . . . .

kougar24 did, too. kougar24 loves Bill Snyder, but on the other hand, kougar24 hates the situation K-State's incompetent administration put Bill Snyder in.

I think it was smart on their part.  Draws attention away from the cluster f^ck and rallies the troops around the old guy.  Pretty good strategy imo.

whitlock isn't popular? are you kidding?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I don't really believe Whitlock's opinions are that relevant at all.  Entertaining?  Sure, but not relevant, imo.

All 5 kids went to ksu?  Really?  Why?  Because they could go for free?

Old Billy should contain enough "emaw" to at least pay for his kids college education.  Making donors do it is, at the least, a bit disturbing.  And you tools fall for his b.s. hook, line and sinker.  Sad.

At least you know he has the university's best interest in mind when he negotiates his worthless son's 5 year extension after he retires.

I've read Bill Snyder's contracts Bentard, so I am very comfortable in believing that Snyder wasn't paid anymore than what he was owed, and I also know he's either declined or deferred what he was owed in some tough budgetary years.

So if you want to concoct far flung conspiracy theories you can head on back to Tardville and knock yourself out.

So, What you are saying is that his kids (the richest kids in all of Riley Co., if not Western KS, didn't get a free ride?  Too, you are also saying that his son, dipcrap that he is, isn't guaranteed a 5 year gig after the master leaves ksu?  You're too much, Jaynie.  Too much.  lol at ksu and the cronies that run their AD.

I'd bet one sons or daughters of coaches of Synder's standing pay to go to the schools when dad, mom is coaching.
Hell, i've seen supertindents of schools who get yearly clothing, technology, transportation etc. allowances equal to in-state tuition so BFD.

Never said that at all dumbass.   Of course the free rides for the kids, and employment for his son are right there in his contracts.

I believe the richest guys in "Western Kansas" are worth hundreds of millions of dollars.   Please just stop.

It is painful beyond words to continually have such an amazing dumbass from kusportstards.com on this board.

  re-write that and get back to me.  What a &@#%in dumbass.

I haven't heard one of you dipcraps try to rationalize Old Balls contract.  I don't blame you.  Can't rationalize something that a fraud spelled out.  Good luck next year.  Problem is, it will probably take two or three  years of bottom dwelling before you realize you made the worst hire in all of D1 football.  Good luck, douchebags.
