wife and i are going if she can get off work.  don't think we can find something that cheap though.  looking at orbitz and flights are around $400.  but week long packages are ridic. cheap though.

thanks for the links.  that's some crazy chit.  will have to do some more research but trying to get  plans finalized before end of the weekend.  if not too expensive will try get there on the 14th and leave on the 23rd.

so apparently you can't buy game passes/tickets from the ticket office unless you get a whole travel package.  that sucks.  however, according to the tournament web site tickets go on sale to the general public Sept 1.

suggestions from airport gurus what to do in DFW for 4 hours?

on return we fly thru Miami.  anything cool there we should check out?

don't know what gate you'll fly into (prob c), but you'll most def fly out of termy d. my suggestion is to get to terminal d as fast as possible. you will ride the tram located on the floor above the terminals to get there. do not attempt walking from another terminal to terminal d. once you get to d...bask in it's glory. you'll never see a better one in your life.
