I like the drumsticks, simpler to eat. Although dipping them can be frustrating if you have a small cup, since it has such a large piece of meat on the end. I don't like feeling like I'm taking a ton of sauce when I dip.

Blue cheese > ranch

But only for wings. I want ranch for salad. I like to have a cup of each though, for dipping the celery. Celery is good for mixing things up when you're midway through your wings. I don't have much experience with BWW (or any), but Hooter's is decent. Samurai wings at Hooter's aren't bad. I like Tanner's and 54th Street for wings in KC, though it's been years since I've eaten at either.

I've had the boneless wings at Applebee's...they're not bad, but have nothing on the real wings.

have you tried the wings at the Peanut in KC?  people love them but they're too big for my wing needs.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The Peanut wings LOOK so good and you just want to dive into that basket but I am in agreement.  They are too big.  I'll eat one or two if someone offers me one.

BLT at Peanut is  but &@#%s up the roof of my mouth.

2 bones.  have yet to find a good wing place in North KC.  agreement with pissclams, like mine a little crispy (not a sauce nazi, so whatever's cool), blue cheeze or ranch (i bring my own dipping sauce when i go to BDUBS since they charge 60 &@#%ing cents for each thing even when you order wings  :curse:).

I'm with Daris on this one.

About 16 wings, buffalo style (degree varies depending on mood, but usually the hotter the better.)  Two bone have much better tasting meat, not as much nasty fat/whatever.  Agree with saul that boneless are a sham, they're basically just tiny chicken strips.  Chicken strips and buffalo sauce are not even close to the taste of regular wings.  It's all crunchy and soft, whereas regular wings have better texture and better tasting meat.  (The kind that sticks together, not the fluffy reprocessed kind.)

I eat mine with ranch.  It's nice because I get a "Ooooh that's cool," taste followed by a "Whooooa that's hot" taste.  I do have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with ranch though.

Overall, great thread.  Wings are one of my favorite 'let's go watch the game' meals.  Also go good in a 'let's go out to the bar' situation too.

I think a great idea is a huge suicide machine that can handle mass suicides all at once to save time and money.  That way, all you gross freaks that like Ranch on your buffalo chicken can all get it over with in one big go.  Also, you pay for it with your 401Ks since you won't need them anymore.  k-thnx.

that's cool man. i've know plenty of people in my lifetime that like boneless chicken nugget type things. most of them were in grade school and stuff but whatev, i don't judge.

my opinions on why wings are better.

1) crispy/fried outside!

fingers/strips/nuggets/etc do not have this. they are so lame that have have to be breaded. such an inferior cut of meat that stuff has to be added to them prior to the fry process. lmao. i like chicken and hotsauce. not flour. "hey bartender...give me some flour chicken. tia." lmao.

2) healthy sauce to chicken ratio!

i got a strip basket today from a place that i've never been to before. anyway...i got it because it came w/ fries and bread. i get it to go and when i get it back and open it up, it's basically five chicken breasts w/ a little bit of hot sauce slapped on the outside. suckfest 09. wings provide a good sauce to chicken ratio that most strips/nuggets/whatever simply can not.

I would just like to point out that I have completely avoided the obvious reference's to you dorks liking the bone.  I have not once proclaimed that any of you gaylords absolutely love the bone or take the bone all day.  I have had plenty of opportunities to do so.  But I have not.  You stupid gaywads can just take your homo bones and suck them all the way to buttsex town for all I care.  gays.

I'd be fine with the boneless thing if they just called them buffalo chicken fingers.  And not wings.  Just say you don't like chicken wings.

They have a really good place for wings in t-town, Skinny's bar and grill.  Best wing's ive ever had.  Sizewise they are not too big, I know what pclams is talking about, the bigger wings are not as tasty. I don't like them as small as BWW though either, feel like you are getting ripped off.

Oh, BTW, breaded wings? GMAFB.  Gotta have them un-breaded.

I was wandering when someone would say something.  BTW I'm not a fan of the bone, and ranch sauce  :yuck: I'm in the SD club of chicken wing eating.

And where are all those crazy buffalo's with wings anyway :dunno: :whistle1:

I like most wings equally.  For some reason I fracking love KFC hot wings with no sauce.  I do however like the 2 bone best anywhere else with hot or bbq.  No dipping sauce for me especially ranch.  Ranch and boneless are for queers.

Cujos in Lubbock, Tx. has excellent wings.  Not fried and great sauce.  Comes with celery and ranch.
