I've had sprint for 9 years.  I think I had 1 dropped call in manhattan before they switched towers or something.

If you traveled you'd know Sprint is horrible.

I drove to Padre, Florida, Chicago with no blips.

Then you are lucky because around KC, on I-70 both east and west and I 35 to wichita it is a joke.

What did you do, wrap your phone in aluminum foil? I've never had a problem in KC, Wichita, or any major highway. Ever.

You are the exception then.

False.

Okay, you are right.  Sprint is doing really well.

They've been hemorrhaging customers for the last 4 years because of their customer service, not their reception, and certainly not their data network.

Also, with the palm pre and sprint, you don't get that INSANELY AWESOME. . "BFFT BMMP GRRRRT  NEETT" noise come out of your radio when you are getting a phone call or text.  Now I'm trading in my pre and getting an iPhone.

AND, with the iPhone you get a baby shaking app.  How could you not want that?!

The GPS on my Palm Pre is about 15 seconds ahead of my friend's iPhone, and my friend's Eternity.  I told them I'd trade them, because I just love it so much when I make a left turn, and then a few seconds later, the phone confirms that I, in fact, did need to turn left there.  It makes me feel really knowledgeable.

Depends on what you mainly want to do with the phone. What do you want the phone to do well?

The Curve should be fine. Curious: did the Sprint Store rep set up your email account before you left the store?

My Sprint coverage is great. Besides, Sprint phones are the only phones where you can set your phone to force roam. Have fun trying to do that ATT users.

Video: iPhone copy and paste is a 'pretty incredible thing'... for 1999

Look Apple, your copy and paste feature is pretty intuitive and all but let's face it, you're late to the party. About two full software revisions late we'd say. And listing it as one of the "pretty incredible things" in your latest ad about the iPhone 3G S iPhone 3GS is kind of silly since it's available on your previous models too. Maybe you're just being ironic?

Also hilarious that the latest 3Gs commercial touts video. Video. As in, something that's been on phones for years.

But hey, a camcorder is newer to phones than copy/paste, so they've got that going for them. Which is nice.

As an iPhone fanatic I was introduced to my first Palm Pre today.  Very nice looking.  Very neat.  Really cool.  I was impressed!! The only flaw I saw was that it wasn't an iPhone.

So you like having to wear an Ove-Glove just to talk on the phone?

iphones seem pretty cool.  Kinda pricey though. I think the Pre looks cool as well but I prolly wouldn't buy the first gen. of anything.  I think the blackberry is the safe choice plus you can get all the apps free from crackberry :dunno:
