apparently the lad can't make it to lawrence to join his teammates this summer and won't be coming until august because he's getting his braces off this summer (when i got mine off it only took a day).

having seen this kid's grill, i believe the excuse is real.  still, hawkfan has to be taking this as a major blow, this kid actually seems more selfish than the overweight point guard - sharrin colen (sp?).
