Wichita Catbackers

Remembered something else.  Currie was talking about him and Schulz competing to see who could get up and to work first, and in doing so mentioned they're living in the same condo complex and thus they see whose car is gone first.  Does this mean Wefald is refusing to GTFO of the president's house?  Would really cap this summer off if there was a standoff of sorts.

Maybe there will be pictures of Wefald in a robe and a shotgun yelling "Get off my lawn"  Police cars all around.  Maybe he will yell things like "It was my money and I will do what I want with it."   Or "I made this University what it is, I hired Bill Snyder.  We have lots of Rhodes, Truman, Maxwell Scholars.  It's because of me... Me I tell you!"

I'm seeing kind of a Young Guns II standoff with Krause and Epps upstairs in the Pres. house. 

I am thinking my "filling up your tank with EMAW" analogy has some real legs.

Went to Catbacker events prior to leaving KC . . .   

Weefer probably got Mrs. Weefer filling sand bags and cleaning guns for the stand off as we speak.   Bob Krause is going to roll up any minute with several large satchels of something resembling grenade launchers outlining the cloth.  Epps is in back cheerleading the whole scene.

Just remembered, Snyder was the last speaker so as he was up there the event staff was trying to get things packed up.  Everyone could hear them in the back horsing around and dropping plates and silverware.  Lon Floyd stomped back there and shushed them.

yeah, snyder went to a lawrence catbackers thing a couple of years ago. said he was on his way to kansas city and it just worked out but he couldn't stay long. then went to talk forevvvvvvvver about non kstate athletics related stuff.

what's your take on floyd? i no likey.

Yeah, I remember that - I was there....there was a death in the family I believe his wives side and he was on his way thru to go to the funeral.
