 I only count 3 other schools in the WORLD that have BSL-4 labs on campus. KSU has officially reached "God" status on the scale of eliteness

I kinda agree. I mean, if Manhattan gets nuked during a football game, we'll all get swine flu or some other super deadly disease.

Now, if I'm grilling, I have to get the meat I'm cooking to 150-180 depending on the animal to kill all the little bugs.  Pretty sure a nuke is hotter than that.

No one would nuke the BSL.  That would just incinerate the little critters before they could get loose & wreak havoc in the green glowing post-apocalyptic American wasteland.  Much better to nuke the regional power plants and just let the containment at the BSL fade away.

If a single nuke is fired at anything from anywhere the whole earth will be destroyed so I'm not to worried about it.  Everyone that owns one will shoot theirs off and kaboom there goes the earth, only thing left is 6 legged 3 eyed frogs and cockroaches because they can't die!
