Let rodent know what you think of this little idea.

I'm proposing that we set up a "K-State ONLY forum" area.  In other words, they only way you can gain access is to be a K-State student &/or alum that MUST BE a fan of KSU sports.  First off, this would eliminate folks like Manhatter (U of Tulsa), Wildcat Nation (Baker Univ.), GoldbrickGangBoss (KSU student/anti-fan) and any other asshole that annoys the good and true K-Stater.

rodent tells me via PM that he can ban posters from certain forums while allowing access to others, so it seems entirely feasible.  I'll accept comments below.

If you're added to the banned list, I'm all for it.

I don't see anything wrong with fans of K-State who never went there. I never went to K-State.

I am paying off student loans from there though...does that count?

I can produce both a copy of my old student ID as well as a copy of my diploma from KSU.  Therefore, I would not be banned.  Additionally, as a fellow K-Stater I would be happy to have you as a poster within the hallowed walls of the sacred forum.  Why the animosity toward TheOverlord?

TheOverlord does not think you to be a badguy, Saul.  However, much like a negro trying to gain acceptance at Augusta National, we have to draw the lines somewhere and it would ultimately be up to rodent and SPC I suppose.   The rules I propose are mainly to keep the undesirables out.

The people in charge have spoken. I'm a moderator, remember? I could abuse my power and delete your offensive post, but I choose not to, because i'm not a goober.

I can produce a K-State student ID and a copy of a diploma as well, but this does not make me a K-Stater.

Threatening TheOverlord?!?!  I've seen it all now.  Maybe TheOverlord will become a moderator...  Betcha didn't think about that, huh?

What did you find offensive about the post?  If you have your name on a K-State diploma, then I think most would consider you a K-Stater.  On the other hand, goldy can likely produce a KSU ID, but that jackoff is the furthest thing from a K-Stater I've ever seen. (assuming she's not a sock, of course)

My name isn't on the diploma.  I could photoshop it on, and you wouldn't know the difference!  :jerkoff:

Sure I would, you've already stated that you never went to K-State.  Remember?

I never went to K-State.

See, one of the things that makes K-State folks unique is the fact that most try to remain 100% forthright in their dealings with others, especially fellow K-Stater's.  So, you've already put yourself in a position to have to lie to gain acceptance/membership to the exclusive forum should rodent choose to enable one.  crap, just sign up for Coach Prince's online leadership course, rather than lie or doctor sacred KSU documents.

I'm not 100% sure.  Although, I think I saw FITZ post something about it.

Supposedly, it's next fall on Friday afternoons of the days of home games.

HTH.

TIA

No charge.

TheOverlord has spoken nicely, despite Saul's attacks on TheOverlord.

Would an official transcript of current enrollment at K-State count?

I will have two degrees eventually, most likely. Do I get to join Java's board at that point?

JavaCat gets it!! Two degree minimum sounds phenomenal to me.  I've got two degrees from KSU as well, so that should definitely be the minimum qualification...

Or better yet, student gets viewing only privileges, alum status gets posting privileges, and the second degree makes you a moderator.

I've got a fake K-State student ID, i'm going to be paying off K-State student loans very soon, Tim Weiser thinks i'm a student, and i've got alot of K-State football players added as friends on Myspace.com.

Does that count?

Lemme see...  A male "jersey chaser" with a fake student ID that is so pvssy whipped that he's gonna pay off somebody else's student loans?  Do you drink white wine with kougar?

I'd say Jerry Seinfeld has a better shot at being the next Pope.  But, I'm just shooting from the hip....

Myspace.com is hilarious.  I know like a total of 4 people on there, but have over 30 "friends".  I just like to see what they write on there.  It's pretty funny sometimes.

The loans become mine after the marriage.  Of course, my loans become hers as well.  Works out to be even.

The "with a fake student id" didn't really work itself in to an insult well.  You just threw it out there.

Seriously, I'm just jackin' with ya...

I'm not trying to insult you.  I always thought you were pretty young, so didn't realize that you were getting married.  Living in Dallas, it's rare to see folks get married younger than 30 and I've just never had time for the whole myspace.com thing, but EX thinks it's cool to stalk young chicks on there.
