hopefully goodman and a couple of other young dcas are there.  cook has a good excuse, since he's going to be in colorado for the national team tryouts starting sunday (but note, perry ellis is making a sat. cameo at ku's camp before heading to the same event).

yeah - the names i know of are frank williams, nino williams, spradling and donivine stewart.  I would assume that dillon starzl (sp?), steve carver and tony mitchell are there.  Would be great if Ricky Scott was there.  Also, would love it if Khyle Marshall, Darryl Traynham, Tim Hardaway Jr and Dwight Powell were attending.  I hope JMart can come through and toss out a couple names that are new on the EMAW radar.

MoKan, Brandon Bass, Team Texas, Pump and Run were all there.

The entire coaching staff + Greenawalt were all there.  

Sounds like there was a scrimmage that included most of the newcomers.  "Jamar and Judge looked good. Kelly looked GREAT. Henriquez was there but didn't play".

Good to hear Ross-Miller was there.  Cook couldn't possibly have been there, as he was at the USA U-16 trials.  Thanks for the report.

Of the MoKan bunch, I do think Frank Williams is a sleeper with some nice upside.  He looked great in the Classic from the games I saw.  He's got a pure jump shot with range and he looks like a legit 6-5.  He is thin and I didn't see much in terms of remarkable athleticism, but I think he'll be one to watch.

Agreed on the reports about Spradling and was pretty underwhelmed for the most part.  He's definitely a floor general, but I question his ability to create his own shot or if he has the athleticism for the Big XII.  Looked like a more talented Brady Morningstar to me, but without the racist and violent tendencies.  I know Kruger was after him pretty hard, so what the hell do I know.

Nino and Clint are both two or three years out of college, what do you expect from them.     And Will was better than Traynham, who is ranked in the top 150.  I think a decent prospect with his length.  He's not meant to come in and make an immediate impact.  I think we offered him along with Mitchell to have a solid base to the class and build in with teams and coaches instead of grasping at straws (Gilbert, Buchi, Abdul (why is this guy still in Manhattan?) Irving) in the last few weeks to fill several spots.

The matchup wasnt Spradling and Miller, it was Miller and some 5'8 kid who was a good player.

Spradling isnt fast and has decent ball handling skills. He can shoot and make shots wide open but he can't create a shot. He is def not a kstate type point guard and i think we can find many pg out there better. Sorry if this is harsh, just my opinion.

Frank Williams didn't do much at the camp. He wasn't shooting the ball real well, and if we are looking for a pure shooter, I'm positive we could find many 6'6, 6'7 kids with better athletic ability. He is real skinny and weak as well, he needs to put on about 30 pounds to be a d1 prospect.

prolly donivine stewart.  with will, i think he's a good player and i don't look upon the fact that he can't create his own shot as a really bad thing.  he's gonna be one of those guys who just doesn't hurt us with the bball and doesn't throw away possessions.  you know how JPull does something great and then does something bone-headed?  I can't really see spradling doing too many bone-headed things.

it's going back up.  he's been playing well this spring.  seen some texas people comments that he's the best point in the state.  really glad to hear he was at the camp.
