    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Wow. This from the Sports Editor.

Clearly that writer did not attend the AQ Miller School of Journalism.  Very poorly written.  And Dalonte's last name changed from Hill to Hall half way through.  Now that's attention to detail.   :flush:

Quote from: Steve Sell
The hope in Manhattan is that KSU will become an automatic yearly selection for the NCAA tourney, as it appears the coaching staff is able to land top talent -- now they just have to coach it up.

This writer probably went to uk, although if what he says is true and all we have to do is "coach it up" I think we're in good shape
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

Russell was rated by one service as the No. 4 prospect out of Texas, while Irving, just recently signed, could be the sleeper. Hall said the Wildcats like his aggressiveness and toughness.

Sports editor in this case means the paper's only full-time sports person. By slapping the editor tag on him, they can work him 50 to 60 hours a week with no overtime.
Nobody proofs his copy or gives him any direction. He'll move on to sell insurance or something so enough.

What gave it away?  The random mention of Xavier Henry for no reason at all?

Yeah, awkward use of a metaphor (I now it is correct, but still):

The McPherson paper, you have to understand, is geared towards the locals who don't eat, sleep, and breathe EMAW like we do, hence the content is going to seem boring and contrived....but that doesn't excuse a sentence structure that would make a late night drunken flamer look like Oscar Wilde. Learn to use a comma.
"You guys want answers that are conversations between John and I. I ain't worried about it. I'm living the dream.... When I start worrying about a contract, I'd be cheating the kids and not doing my job." - Frank Martin
