Clearly that writer did not attend the AQ Miller School of Journalism.  Very poorly written.  And Dalonte's last name changed from Hill to Hall half way through.  Now that's attention to detail.

The hope in Manhattan is that KSU will become an automatic yearly selection for the NCAA tourney, as it appears the coaching staff is able to land top talent -- now they just have to coach it up.

The McPherson paper, you have to understand, is geared towards the locals who don't eat, sleep, and breathe EMAW like we do, hence the content is going to seem boring and contrived....but that doesn't excuse a sentence structure that would make a late night drunken flamer look like Oscar Wilde. Learn to use a comma.
