Did Bill Self have a falling out with a certain, prominent, Lawrence area real-estate developer with seats behind the ku bench??

Weird to hear about purported "promises" to players not being met all of a sudden.

Who knows . . . Bill's still trying to find his kids court at the Manhattan Classic, but he has managed to walk by the Ellis contingent 15 times now on his way to find where his kid is playing.  The Peterson Rec Center is a HUGE, HUGE place you know.

Yeah, it was pretty weird running into Coach Self in the rec center bathroom this weekend.  

Kind of a meat gazer.  Can't blame him, but still a pretty weird encounter.

The most recent premium update on Jayhawk Slant indicates that these rumors are a bunch of BS.  The Henry family has no idea where the rumors are coming from, but Xavier and CJ are both enrolled at Kansas.  Self is visiting with them next week to discuss when they should make their move to Lawrence.  HTH.

Imagine my surprise when I read the story about Lance Stephenson and, expecting to see a picture of Lance and maybe his family, saw this:

I guess Ellis or one of his teams left the classic early.  Apparently Ellis played in a lot of games being on 2 teams . . . I suspect though that the real reason they left early was Ellis was exhausted from having to fend off Coach Bumps who upon last report was still at the Rec trying to find his kid's game, but did manage to walk by where the Ellis contingent was last seen 27 times.
