I sounds like you think Posnanski's well written expose was tongue-in-cheek then? No corruption at the top?

Huh . . . yeah, I clearly think there was no corruption.  I've been such a huge fan of President Weefer over the years and all.

It's just not the type of corruption you and Tardville want to think it is, unless you and Tardville actually want to believe that the money was going to somehow trickle back to recruits and players SIX YEARS from now, or in the case of this agreement execution SEVEN YEARS later.   You know what long term thinkers your average 18-22 year old is these days.

I am fully open to the possibility that Bob may have thought there was no way his rocky marriage into the Vanier family was going to last, so he tried set up a cozy little nest egg . . . and I also know that Tardville with Hoax leading the charge (with the various lemmings like you swinging from his nut sack) have concocted some sort of "Prince knew something" scheme . . . which is kind of dumb, if you're still the regime in charge of that "something" you don't happen to "discover" those documents while you're still in the building.   You bury them way deep and then play dumb when they're discovered three or four years down the line.   But hey, given their track record, maybe they're not even smart enough to do that.   Plus at this juncture, this involves the Regents as well, and there's no way in my mind the Regents are going to be party to playing along if there's serious NCAA infractions being covered up.

Who the frank cares if there was corruption at the top, other than you and BMW?  Everyone at the top is gone now.

If you're looking for some type of admission from KSU fans that Krause, Wefald and Prince were circus clowns, you're trying way too hard to get it, because its been out there for months now.

Do you seriously think nobody cares if there was corruption and outright lies at the top? If there was, the fact that they will soon be gone is irrelevant. I agree with Posnanski though. $3.2M is way more than the lone-gunman theory that Meeks would have one believe. Maybe 500K ... but now $3.2M.

It is fully and absolutely possible that Bob Krause did this on his own . . . sure you can argue and have a leg to stand on that Weefer and others were involved, but on the other side . . . it's not impossible at all in this day and age for a lawyer and a willing executive to concoct a silly little side agreement like this.  It's entirely possible that Bob thought he'd be around while and it's entirely possible Krause thought that he'd weld so much power because of all the grandiose plans he had and thought he could execute on . . .  that he could sneak in a nice little chunk of change into the budget with 6 or 7 years to work on it.   Stupid, but not out of the question.

I'm sure there are a bunch of powertards that are threatening to (or already have) cut off their donations, and obvioulsy plenty of ku fans are extremely worried about "corruption and outright lies", but I'm sorry to tell you that Kansas State University and its athletic department are going to continue to exist for the foreseeable future.

Is it a set back?  Of course.  Is it embarassing?  No doubt.  Would it be nice to have that $3.2M to put toward a better cause? Absolutely. But Krause is gone; Wefald is gone; and Prince is gone.   I'm not sure what good it will do anyone to uncover the great conspiracy theory at this point, other than to initiate a huge circle jerk on the ku boards.

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
actually read it ... twice.  trying to figure out what was exposed by this "expose"?
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

Good point. Expose might have been the wrong term to use, but Posnanski's the only writer so far that has the nads to write anything but a fluff piece about it. Meeks proposed a lone-gunman theory about Krause. Is Martin still covering KSU sports?

Actually I think it was J'Mart who broke the story . . . he didn't Jason King the issue if that's what you're saying Stalksmith.

But lets see, outside of absolute speculation what can they say??   Prince isn't talking, Krause isn't talking.  I know the tinfoil hat world of Tardville is easy for public Internet access simpletons like you to subscribe to . . . but come on chief.

JoPo (the writer not the coach . . . hint- ksufans.com inside joke, ask BMW about it) was on a freaking BLOG.

I'll wait a few hours for your response while you monitor the other K-State boards and pm the usual suspects in Tardville for help.

Any public access to the Riley County district court records? An answer should be filed soon. I wonder who has the nads to ultimately write a story about it.

Here's a preview of the soon-to-be-filed answer: "Defendant does not have enough knowledge or information to admit or deny the allegations of Paragraph ____, and therefore denies the same."  Maybe Jayhox can confirm with his sources at KC lawfirms.

Did I miss your point, or are you really saying that the local writers won't write/haven't written derogatory stories about KSU and this mess?  You're trying way too hard.  Whitlock will unload with both barrels soon enough, I'm sure.  He's probably just waiting for some actual facts to surface, rather than coming off as a weirdo conspiracy theorist.

There's public access if you go the courthouse . . . and given that you seemingly have hours upon hours on your hands, why don't you drive on over and check it out STALKsmith??

So the real question is . . . who on the K-State beat is the exact opposite of anyone covering ku at the Star, CJ, or Eagle.

You're probably right, it will be someone like Whitlock that covers this one. This one should be a doozy.
