Hello everybody.

First off I just want to apologize on behalf of Husker fans, both in Nebraska and around the country.  It's obvious that the small number of Husker "fans" on this board do not in any way represent the majority of Husker fanatics.  Please don't judge Husker fans based on those few dimwits.

Also, I've noticed that many posts that involve the Huskers usually turn into shout fests, with neither side making any valid point.  And to emphasize their baseless arguments, they call the opposition "pussies" or "douchebags" or something to that effect.  Very clever, I must say, but you're not impressing anyone.  Believe it or not, no one thinks your a hardass if you call someone a "pussy" on a message board.  It's often just the other way around - most people will look at you as the "douchebag."  I know this is the case in a lot of message boards but this one seems to be filled with such hilarious slander.

As for the upcoming game, I think it will be competitive.  Yes, Josh Freeman is a good quarterback.  No, he is not as good as you K-State fans think he is.  But that's ok, because I'm sure that the Huskers aren't quite as good as I think they are either.  It goes both ways.

Also, the jokes about Brook Berringer are very very tasteless.  Stuff like that isn't funny, I don't care who you are talking about.

Thank you.

I agree, the jokes about Brook Berringer are tastless.  But I ask - are they more or less tastless than the "Sal is dead - Go Big Red" sign that greeted CU fans along I-80 back in the 90's.

Hi pot - meet kettle.  The world learned tastless from the nubb nation.

To be 100% honest..

I think all the smack talking leading up to the game is fun.  Gets you more emotionally invested and looking forward to the game.  It's better than "How many points do we score on Fla Int?" all week, and arguing over quarterback or running back.

Now, sure, this is probably not the best place to do it (Because there aren't any real boundaries when it comes to classless or tasteless smack, ala brook, etc etc) but at the same time it is because this is the only site cool enough to allow this much/type of smack.

Of course, the difference would be that Husker fans railed against the idiots that did the "Sal is dead" sign whereas KSU fans seem to be endorsing, by the actions or their silence, the tasteless Brook comments.  Or at the very least some idiots here seem to think two wrongs make a right.

Also, debo, you're a pussy.  Nut up.

Actually, there is a story behind the brook b is dead smack....  It was never intended to be disrespectful to anyone but the douche bag that thought we cared enough of to come remind us of the anniversiary.  Every time you see Brook berringer is dead, replace it with "We don't care."

Now that you've cleared that up I can now understand why it isn't disrepectful to his fan, friends, or family.  Nice justification you ignorant panty sniffer.   :ustupid:
