    Hey, basketball!!!
Looks like we are finally getting back in the race for the top players in the state of Kansas. It's been about a five year hiatus, but since LSnyder got here, definitely a big change.

With the transfers of Harper & Smith to MHK, we now have three of the top six players from the top ten of Kansas in '08 (including Dold).

In this class we already have two of the top seven. (D. Robinson & Walker just solidified his commitment to us!!! Step off NU!!)

The first step in getting back to the DOD is closing the border to out of state schools and locking up the top talent in the state. Good start for the new staff. :ksu: :AA:

the Harper news is definitely a Sally Field type moment..."You like me, you really like me".

so, yeah we recieved a little momentum....

but when we start filling our recruiting classes with the Texas preps to build depth that will be more impressive, imho.

According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins

K-State people supposedly have "little many syndrome" and hey some do . . . and ku people supposedly don't care about K-State.  Yet if anyone posts anything saying that K-State is doing better at something than ku, or is better this or that than ku . . . ku people go absolutely ape $hit out of their minds, repeatedly    :angryMJ: :angryMJ: :angryMJ:

Just passing on a lifelong observance.

i fully understand the "pot calling the kettle black" saying. that saying implies that they already know each other and therefore wouldn't need an introduction. maybe you don't quite understand what is going on here? pm if necessary. i just want to help.

it's cool.  your being a douche.  pretty used to it around here.  But hey its great to see you ksu bandwagon fans starting to trickle back.  And I am a little scared about the prospect of you guys getting harper and smith.  With that O line and D that Snyder is creating.  Could be scary stuff.  :ohno:

yeah we got our bandwagoners.  it's just nice to see yours finally coming back.  if you don't think you have them, look at your stadium attendance since 2004.

Stadium Attendance since 2004??

K-State was in the midst of its 3rd losing season out of the last 4 years last year and still averaged over 45,000 a game.

You're just not very smart are you Jayhawks??

Would be more impressive to get some of the great talent in Texas, but we at least need to get the top players in KS. Don't sign alot of in-state kids, but lock up the best. I'm sure I don't need to spend time recounting the KS players who were integral to the DoD. Unfortunately and I hate saying this, ku is more competitive w/ these kids than they were in the Terry Allen era. It felt really good to just say "the Terry Allen era". Good times all around...

we're on the worst slide we've had since the Snyder resurrection and we're pulling 45K a game to come watch a defense play 117th, no bowl for two years, and the Texas bowl was a dud.

ku is enjoying their best run OF ALL TIME!! and pulling in about 47K a game. lmao

    Hey, basketball!!!
I'm just happy with the progress. Snyder's last two seasons we got about two top five Kansas players. We already have three in less then half a year with LSnyder on the job...

Not to mention when Prince was here. In his three recruiting classes he got about two or three total top five kansas players.

Pretty big improvement if you ask me...

    The very best.
not to mention we are sitting pretty w/joseph randle.

it's about to get ugly, SQUAKS (SQUAWKS?)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Mangino, in his entire career, hasn't locked up the Kansas top preps like Snyder has since November to the present. It shows you how desperate the Kansas High Schools were to get him back in charge.
