agree, the runny nose i can handle, but the sore throat kills it, but it is nasty to blow a big wad of snot out in a public place, at least sore throat you can be discreet  :scared:

Got a sinus infection... last week the right side of my nose was bulging out and fluid kept spewing out of my eye.  It was great.  Now I'm just stuffy.   :'(

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I used to get strep throat/sinus infections like every other week in 2nd grade.  Then all of a sudden I turned healthy.

guess i've never had a bad headache then. when i do have a headache, i take advil and it goes away.

sore throats don't really go away and if it sore and your trying to sleep and all you do is cough it's really bad. what a nightmare, don't get me started.

Have had this since yesterday.  No cough, just terrible throat soreness.   :woohoo: only the opposite.

Simultaneous diarrhea and vomiting.  Puke in the toilet and you crap your pants.  Crap in the toilet and you puke on the floor.  Only did this once.  Was in 5th grade and had to puke.  Ran across the house and got to the toilet just in time.  Didn't know I had to crap until the contractions from the puking forced it out and my whitey tighties became brownie slimies.  Did it again later.  Third time I learned my lesson.

That was one of the worst days of my life.

in order:

1. diarreha/vomiting
2. fever/chills
3. headache/body ache
4. sinus congestion
5. sore throat

Worse part, imo, is the nausea before vomiting. When it is so bad you want nothing more than to puke so you can feel better.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
1. diarreha/vomiting
2. sore throat - a close second

At least diarreha usually doesn't last too long, unlike sore throat. If you had a week long bout with diarreha, then no question.

QFT

Haven't puked from being flu sick since I was probably 16.  Now twice that age.  Get a runny nose/sinus headache thing once in the fall/winter and once in the spring and that's it.  Working on the tail end of one right now.

Had one really weird one a couple years ago.  Got up and walked to class and felt fine.  Walked in the door to class and felt fine.  From between the door and my chair, maybe 15 feet, I felt the sudden urge to puke.  So I set my books down and turned right back around and headed toward the bathroom.  Did my business and felt fine the rest of the day.  Hadn't had anything to eat since supper the night before and hadn't been drinking.  Weirdest thing ever.

But when I miss work for being sick, its been because I was sick.  Missed a week for appendicitis a few years ago and another time got a viral infection that was absolutely horrible.  Missed work for 3 days one week, was sick all weekend, and was missed the first two days of the following week.  Was chilled with a pounding headache, so I'd take an aspirin.  The headache would be gone, but my chills spiked my fever up close to 104 and I would be sweating like crazy.  Went back and forth like this for days.

sore throat never bothered me, just prevent your throat from getting too dry.  having to blow your nose every 5 seconds, and having your whole face itch sucks.

Face itch?  Flu or did you go down on a woman with a yeast infection?
