In tonight's Manhattan Mercury, Mark Janssen writes that If we win the games we should be favored in (Iowa State and Colorado) and maybe win a coin flip game (ku), although I don't see the ku game as a coin flip game, we could be headed to the Independence Bowl or Alamo Bowl. Win those games and get an upset along the way and the Cats could be Gator, Sun or Holiday Bowl bound.

The way I look at it, if we win 2 out of 3 at home (probably Nebraska and Iowa State) all we'll need to do is win one road game to feel pretty solid going into "Selection Sunday".

Now that we have finally taken the cuffs off and have Freeman out there - expect nothing short of the Big 12 Title game and the Holiday Bowl baby.  JF tore it up - he will remind NU why they wanted him so badly.

Chalk it!

You honestly think we will beat Mizzou? We would have to to be able to get to the big 12 champ game.

We have beat them thirteen times in a row :) The only thing that scares me is that it is at Mizzou, but lets be honest, missouri isn't very intimidating. and they will be coming off of a disappointing loss to TAMU.

Yes because it will be so hard two beat two out of the likes of NU, CU, ku and ISU :jerkoff:

I don't quite understand this thinking.  It's the North.  Even though one or two teams (MUtt's and UNL) have the upper hand for the division, I don't see either team as being so unbeatable.

I'm not sure we get 6 ( I predicted 6), but there's real possibility for KSU to get there.

Yea, we took a punch in the mouth in Waco, but I think this team is over that and looking forward.  Hopefully, Baylor will be just be game KSU looks back on and says.. "(expletive)!!!  We should have won that game".

However I think at least half the folks on this board predicted KSU's first road game under Prince to be a loss.

Anyway, I don't see it being out of the realm of possibility.

Yes because NU will &@#%in' ass rape Free and the gang, CU is due for a win, ku will stick it to us and ISU and those WR's will clean up... Sorry to be the dose of reality but...

It looks as if we'll all be stuck :jerkoff: to "Free and tha Manatee" come December...

You guys need to look at this a bit more realistically...4-2 now (1-1 in Big 12)

Neb- LOSS, might be close for a while but Neb has way more talent on both sides of the ball

at MiZZOU- LOSS, this is the best Mizzou team in a number of years, and KSU is down this season as you all know

IOWA St.- WIN, but not by much... Iowa st will choke as usual

at CU- WIN if KSU loses this one they don't deserve to finish their season

Texas- LOSS-  please.

at ku- toss up, a win could get the 6 wins for a bowl (really 7, but do 1-AA wins count?) and a loss could mean Prince can start recruiting early this year

Thats 6-6 or 7-5, so you are probably looking at a bowl game in the second week of December or whenever they start. I hope they do go to a game, because then the Big 12 gets more revenue in the process, and it would be fun to see them get thier lunch handed to them by some team like Boise State.

Cheers!
