Parody movies have been terrible lately

Not even funny anymore.  Dance Movie?  just seeing the previews.

Similar to the Scary Movie / Date Movie types.  Just terrible.

The last one I can remember actually laughing at was Space Balls.  Mel Brooks was pretty good..I remember loving Young Frankenstein the first time I saw it.

Scary Movie was good until Wayan brothers left acting/producing it.

They were ok relatively speaking, but even the old Leslie Nelson stuff blew Scary Movie out of the water.

scary movie II was awesome.  so was Hot shots Part Deux.

Check out Top Secret with Val Kilmer in it.  Good flick from the mid 1980's.  The bad guys barely even touch the back of a Ford Pinto, and the thing explodes on them.
