Don't look into your mirror, Caliban.  Just watch the Jayhawks' meteoric rise and try to not let it affect you.

I just picked myself up off the floor - did you say "fantastic"? Give me a break, the guy played well in perhaps the weakest conf (big 12 north) in the country! PLEASE put the hooka down and smoke a fat ounce of reality. Reesing is good in his situation - in his system, he will not be drafted nor will he play QB in the league. There have been MANY other QBs that have bombed in the NFL that were cant miss and they were head and shoulders (pun intended) better in ridiculously tough conferences. Reesing is nothing more than a good college system QB in an extremely weak conference.

Chip on your shoulder much?  My God.... ku and Mizzou just finished in the top 10 a couple years ago.  Mizzou, ku, and Nebraska all won 8+ games and a bowl game last season.  The North has been much worse in the past.

You could argue about how many consecutive top-10 finishes are needed to qualify as elite, but a team unable to finish in the top-25 isn't in the discussion.

How many consecutive 5-7 seasons (along with ass beatings from ku) does K-State have to have in order for you clowns to stop acting like it's still 1998?  Your football program has been garbage for years now.

And Hawaii was 12-1 a couple of years ago too - your point? There isn't one person on this board who will argue that ksu is chitty right now and during dipchitronprince's time - but after everything that has been dragged across this message board and all that bandwidth that you have read, you mean to tell me that you are STILL pimping uk as anything other than a one hit wonder? BMW, I love you man - you keep me lauging.

You just can't handle the fact that ku is good at football.  Hawaii?  Not even in a BCS conference, plus they got embarrassed by Georgia in their BCS Bowl.  ku is favored to win the North next season and has won 20 games over the past two years.  Fresh off a 52-21 ass kicking of K-State.  But you keep pretending like it's still 2002...

Ben just can't handle that on a K-State Bulletin Board ku isn't well liked . . . someday, maybe after his 12,000th post on his 29th sock he'll actually understand that . . . there's always hope.

Oh, I'm fully aware of the all out ku hatefest on KSUFans.com.  It's highly entertaining.

Yeah... it works both ways.  Never said it didn't.  Notice I usually stay clear of the K-State threads on phog.net.  I'm not going to deny that K-State is getting good at men's basketball, or that your football program will gradually improve under Bill Snyder.  I have no problem with reality.

    Fear the Brick
I'm not kidding.  Either call it "Dax 'n Ben" or "Ben 'n Dax".....you're half brothers (different moms, same dad)....you've never known each other as your dad has lead two separate lives, but you meet at the funeral when your dad passes away.....pitch it to CBS as a sitcom, they'd take it in a heartbeat. throw a curve ball in the central theme of the show and have Dax be a gay republican and Ben the straight democrat.

Nobody here said that ku wasn't much improved in football, but you'll have to forgive us if we have some doubts about whether ku will ever constantly finish over .500 in conference play and things of that nature.  Considering it's only happened 3 times in the last 19 years and all.

Like I keep saying, this is the year that Mangino gets to truly prove that 2007 wasn't a fluke.

Reesing's actually a really good student.  Double major in Economics and Finance.  Someone in the NFL will give him a shot, but his long-term career is in the financial industry.

You mean like Daniel and Harrell?

I think he meant someone will give him a shot in the front office with an NFL team where he can put to use his econ and finance brilliance.  Maybe also as a door-stop.

Lawn gnome.

  very nice.  the dude has had a couple of good years.

BMW isn't saying he's going to make it as an NFL QB, only that he'll get a shot.   which he will.

No he won't.  No he won't.  No he won't.

There isn't a single NFL team that will invite him, or even waste the cost of a plane ticket and a hotel.  He's slow, can't throw a spiral, runs a high school system offense, and throws spirals like 30% of the time.  You are friggin' kidding yourself.  Oh and he's like 5'8" 165lbs in real life.

Doug Flutie played QB in the NFL... Reesing will have his opportunity if he wants it.

Lol at Ben already starting to concoct excuses for Ressing being shut out of the draft, just like the entire uk team this year.

doesn't matter, neither is good enough to play in the NFL.  His only chance is if he can beat out Vince (Marky Mark) at Dick Vermeil's Philly street bum tryouts.

ku is a decent team...no arguing that.....

but they got there using Snyder's formula...the same one that kutards BLASTED during our run of 10, 11, and 12 win seasons.

So, on top of a ku fan seeking constant validation of their teams success, denying that fact is pretty franking annoying. We all feel sorry for you guys.

I couldn't care less whether or not Todd Reesing is drafted in the NFL.  Who accomplished more at K-State, Josh Freeman or Ell Roberson?  Oh, and by the way... 52-21.
