Let's invent a cocktail called the Powertard

In a styrofoam coffee cup, filled with ice (tailgate equiv. of a rocks glass):

1 oz. of this (half full)


with 1 oz. of this purple stuff


with some spearmint skoal shavings on the rim.

I think it was something like Bacardi Limon and....diet coke?  It was a non-citrusy soda to go with a cirtusy booze iirc.  A-Lew totally dished on all the GPC gossip to our elite table.

That's actually a fairly popular drink lately.  Lots of people like a lemon or lime with their diet coke, so the addition of a citrus flavor to a rum and diet was pretty natural.  Along the lines of a cuba libre, only gayer.

That's what I was getting at.  A cuba libre is fine, but when you sub in diet coke and a citrus flavored rum, you gay it up a bit.
